Not As Wanted
There are times when the Game Boy Advance games, hasn't actually delivered in its games, compare to the home console games of the Playstation 2, Gamecube, and Xbox. That has definitely been the case with racing games for the system. Although there have been games that have delivered in earlier games for earlier Game Boy systems, there really hasn't been that much of a stretch for handhelds. Need For Speed has definitely been a example. Since the underground series made its mark on the handhelds, it has had a much more difficult time trying to make its fast and furious feat deliver like the consoles have. Can this edition be better than what happened before?
Decent at best
With far more advanced portables out there these days (Sony's PSP and Nintendo's own DS), there are fewer and fewer games being made for the GBA these days, particularly good racers.That's why any GBA owner would hope that EA's Need for Speed: Most Wanted for the GBA is something special indeed, but once you come back to earth you'll realize that it's only decent at best; like many racers for the GBA not named Mario Kart during it's life span.Surprisingly, the game doesn't look half bad most of the time, but the pixelated graphics can mar the tracks, especially when you have to make a sharp turn.The biggest feature of NFS on the console systems is running from the law, and surprisingly, the police AI is actually pretty well done here, even though there's only one police car per race.The career mode is long nicely done here, allowing you to win cash to get new cars and do some upgrades as well, and it's in this department that the game shines.The music is awful however; pretty much a recycled rock/techno mix that's in a repetitive loop, but that's why you have the ability to turn the volume on your GBA down.All in all, Need for Speed: Most Wanted isn't perfect, but for racing fans still holding on to their GBA's, this is worth a look.

One of the Best bmx games ever!!
This game is the bomb ! You can do some of the sickest tricks eh, its ok
As a bmxer myself i refrain from buying these games, but i was going on a trip so i said what the hell? here is what i thought: the music was horrid, the graphics were ok considering it was gameboy, the trick list was high but they kept combos to a limit of 2 (more realistic but not as much fun), i didn't like the fact that the only way to go on to another level was by entering a password. if u forget to write it down or something u cant get to that level. i lost my passwords three times. the choice of characters was good, but their faces should look better. the game was really easy to beat but i think its probably the best game to get but only if u can't ride or something. GO BMX! RIDE HARD OR GO HOME -tj

Good game, needs some features
One of the first games I bought for my GBC was Dave Mura Freestyle BMX.And it was good.The rider was small in the overall scope of the scenes, but the number of tricks, and levels surprised me.Then came Mat Hoffman Pro BMX.And life was better.The rider in Mat Hoffman Pro BMX is much bigger than in Dave Mura's game.There are more levels, different types of levels, and more tricks.When it came to tricks in Dave Mura's game, while there is more than one rider - only color is different in actual game play.In Mat Hoffman's game, each rider has their own unique special tricks.Bottom line is that I far prefer the Mat Hoffman game to the Dave Mura game.Read more

The best GBC game I have ever played.

Greatest Game For GameBoy Color.
I got this game for Christmas and I love it. It has Six different games each with a different charater. THe whole idea is to help the thornberry's win is awards and you have to help them by beating all six games. ANd if they dont win you can do it the next year, which is just a different skill level. You acn save your game if you dont have time to finish it. Buy this game it is the best!!

Ok for younger kids
I bought this game for my 5 year old as a Christmas present.By New Years, he had it completed.It's a little on the easy side. Now he doesn't play it very much because he has already figured it out.There are some games which took him months to even get through them half way (like Rugrats or Toy Story 2).The only exiting level is where you have to photograph the animals then find the "passageway" to the top of the mountain where the "Yeti" appears.That's the only one he had a little trouble on. ... I beat Top Gear Pocket a number of times and althouhg there aren't ant codes I discovered how to jump start your car in the beginning.

A BMX Tony Hawk

Great game
I thought this game was great. It reminded me of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, only in BMX form. The graphics were good and the tricks were sick!! This is a must have for any BMX fans.

This game is awesome and really fun!!
To anybody who is a racing fan,I totally recommend this game!It's so much fun to race as the original Disney characters against Pete's evil cronies.The game may get hard at times,like when you are trying to find items so you can get a special item,but sometimes what depends where you find items is how many races you've won.I've noticed that this game is not one of those games that you can finish in 2 hours,but it is a game that goes on forever because even if you defeat Pete in each world and at the very end,you still can go back and race all the tracks over and over again.Also,if you come in contact with Pete's cronies,you lose 1 dollar each time,which is really not fair at times,because you might need one more dollar to get a special item.So if you are a racing game fan,and you like to play as original Disney characters,then I totally recommend this game to you.

I got this game and loved it. My 5 year old brother was not in school and he tryied the game.Somehow my brother won me 9974 dollers.In the game you get dollers.You can be Micky,Minnie,Daiy,Donled,Goofy and ploto.You meet Chip and Dail and many other characters you know.Peet is the main problem.You race a lot .If you upgrade your car.Each car turns into a boat. 6 Year Old Gamer and his Mom.
I purchased this game for my son last Christmas (age 5).This game is a favorite of his.He really enjoys the car racing with all of Mickeys friends.The graphics are great, the cars are easy to recognize.The track continually gets harder withramps, water and secret short cuts, with each level.My son, when playing this game will usually sit for 45 min. to an hour."Disney" did it again, GREAT game and age appropriate.Your young children will enjoy this game.Watch out for Minnie she likes to win!

Better than expected!
Fun, interesting courses or 'cities'. I like the fact that each character Mickey, Goofy, Donald, Daisy all have different difficulties. Picking up items to throw is a big bonus..if you like Super Mario cart you'll like this game for Gameboy. Only complaint, once you start a saved game with a character, you can't change them later in the other courses.

awful a waste of money
this game is one of the worst games i ever played. at first when i saw it i thaught of the old arcade action, classic and really cool the box art was cool (witch i was tricked i hope no one else does) i paid about [$$] for it. i got home ripped open the box put it in my GBA and played it it flat out... i really hope no one buys this game.

Great racing game
The Dukes of Hazzard is one of the best racing games I've played in a while, along with Grand Theft Auto and Driver.With the law chasing you throughout the game, it is a challenging and fun game, with beautiful graphics and fun music.Great buy.

OK GAME
My friend had this game already and said it was the best game he had. So I went to Wal-Mart and bought it. In my mind this game is not that fun! Unless you like driv'n around making lots of noise, out running cops and playing levels that are similar to the one you just beat don't get this game. Oh yeah, and if you do decide to buy it what ever you do don't link up with anyone to race. It will erase all of your progress and you can't even race against each other.

Can't get passed the bow shooting
This is one of the best games that I have ever played. The color is good and the graphics are awesome.Your are Bo and Luke Duke and the law is on your tail almost all the time.Thereare a lot of levels and I only got to the fifth one and you got to look for arrows and shoot stuff like barrels that you can't get passed.In some levels you can be Daisy or Uncle Jesse. I love this game. It's different. What i like about it is all the different worlds you get to explore and the challenges in them. There are also cool secret passage ways to, if you could find them. I recommend this game to anyone.

Ok , Unless you hate Legos
I found this game a bit on the dull side but,thats because I have the computer game.I found it simple to master.another downside is the cars,you can only put on three pieces!I gave it 4 stars cause you might lose occasionaly.

A must buy for LEGO lovers
We bought LEGO Racers for my brother on his 8th birthday.He loves it.Here's how you play: First-You design your player. You pick his outfit, and his/her name. Second-You design his/her car. You choose the color and what LEGO's to put on the car. Third-Race. The main thing you would race in are the "Circuit Races". A circuit race has three races w/ diferent settings, 3 laps per race, and 4 computer players you race against. You get certain points for being in whatever place in each race and if you are in 3rd place or higher at the end of the circuit, you go onto the next circuit race. You also get new LEGO pieces for your car. When racing, you can pick up LEGO pieces to use as one use tools in the race, such as GREEN-makes you go faster RED-can shoot other cars down BLUE-is used as a sheild etc. Then there is the "Single Race" its when you choose how many opponents and laps. And the "Versus Race" when you can race a friend with the game link.The only reason I gave this game 4stars is because it was a little too easy for me. Snowmobiles on the gameboy, finaly
For years we never saw any racing games on any system that didn't involvecars. My 8 year old son loves this game!!
My son is crazy about this game.He would play all day if I let him.He loves everything about it, from designing the track to making the cars to racing.He also likes the various characters in the game.It is his absolute favorite.He would recommend it highly.

Fun for a little while
I love racing games but am a little disappointed with this one. It was fun for the first 10 minutes but soon got both boring and aggervating after that. Maybe I just ..., but it's easier to simply pass the other bikers than to try to hit them. Trying to hit them always slows me down. The graphics are pretty good, and overall it really is a fun game, but you're go so fast that it's hard not to crash into things a lot, and then when you're running back to your bike, sometimes people run you over and you find yourself cussing at little video game men. So if you're a person (like me) who gets ticked enough to just about smash the Gameboy against the wall, then this isn't the game for you. Also, it's not really that big of a deal, but it ... how you have to enter a password to get to where you last finished, because the game doesn't save that sort of thing for you. But overall, this is an okay game.

Best Gameboy Color Racing Game
I bought this to use with my Gameboy Advance, it's a great game.Great graphics and gameplay.Has rain and night/day effects.

Le Mans Racing
This game is really kool. i got it for cheap at a used storeand figured it would be a pretty slow game, but it turned out to be great! It's really neat how you can choose the diferent cars and see what they look like, and you notice it when you're driving too. Not only that, but there's different modes to play in , so if you don't want to go through all 10 tracks, just wanna check them out, you can try out arcade mode and see them all. One problem with the game...Toronto is not made up of those hills. Toronto is flat. And it's a city. I live near there and I've never seen any hills like they show on that track!!! But that doesn't take away from the game or anything, it;s still fun and plays differently from other Gameboy racing games. The sound is realistic and great too, something that a lot of GB games fon't have.
