I love this game. It has the best story line. Not only that Zelda games should be made on Nintendo systems. I think they should be made on PS2 also.

One thing I absolutely despise about alot of Gameboy games, anymore, is how you have to buy them in twos just to be able to finish them. Such is the case with Legend of Zelda:Oracle of Ages & Oracle Seasons.Originally planned as a trilogy, this two-part adventure is exceptionally good which is why I highly recommend that you add them to your collection.Read more

Best Ever Zelda Game for Gameboy
This was my first Zelda game and my favorite. This game seems to have everything. Basically, Link is sailing in the ocean and finds himself caught in a storm, knocked unconscious, and awakes on the shore of Koholint Island, having been cared for by Marin, a girl who lives in a hut with her father Tarin in Mabe Village. After wandering around for a while you meet an extremely irritating owl who tells you have to wake the Wind Fish if you ever want to leave Koholint and return home. Really Terrific Beautifull Video Game!!!

Best Game Boy game ever; second best Zelda game ever
With The Minish Cap coming out soon, and looking to be another disappointment (I will reserve final judgment until I actually play it, but it has a definite Wind Waker vibe), the handheld gamer would do well to revisit this classic. The gameplay is incredible and compelling and the story is perhaps the best in the series; the only two faults with this game are minor for any true gamer. The graphics aren't very good; the sprites are simply poorer-quality A Link to the Past sprites oftentimes, but the game is so good one will hardly notice. The sound effects are pretty poor, but, thankfully, there's always the music to compensate for that...and what good music.

not the greatest game in the world
There are 3 games to play, but for one of them you need 2 gameboys and 2 cartridges.For another one, you just walk around through buildings and do absolutely nothing.In the other one, you just make a deck but it has to have 60 cards in it and only one deck has 60 cards in it.This game is really confusing, especially if you don't have the instructions.Don't buy it!

The game is awesome! Don't let the other reviews fool you-you don't even notice the "faults" when you play b/c this game is so fun! I would reccomend this to anyone-even if you hate pokemon. It's that good. Now go get it!

This Game Stinks
The first time I got this game I didn't like it very much. Then I let one of my friends borrow it and he never brought it back. Then I got it again in hopes of beating some people. So I walked into the Rock Club to defeat the master there and he told me I had to go find his pupils first. So I found two of them and I still can't find the others. I even went on a cheat website and I followed where it says she is and she's not there! This game is really boring. I mean really. Playing the TCG in real life is way more fun. ... Read more

this is a very good game
hi i have a dragon warrior and its very fun but its old and it is so old that i was playing .I turned of me gameboy and turned it back on later and it had no memory so i have to start a new game.It would be so awsome if you made it a gameboy advance game with new monsters and other thing so it dosnt forget the memory.
A great remake!
They took the original Dragon Warrior III and made it better.I grew up with this series, and I recall the third installment having a lot of bugs.For example, you could end up with a character that wouldn't develope certain stats.I had a mage once, and for about 5 levels, it didn't get any extra hit points with the level ups.By the time I was at level 10 and my warrior could kill my mage with one hit, I realizedI should restart before getting too far.By 10th level the second time through, my wizard's hp was about doubled...Well, you don't have to worry about that in this version, as they seemed to have fixed it.You can also customize your characters a little when you make them by giving them seeds.Some additions to the maps and game play were also noticed.Those who've played DWIV or DWVII here in the states should recall finding small medals.Well, they're here now too.There are some gaming locations (casino like) as well.A great buy and highly recommended for any RPG fan with a GBC/GBA/DS

Will be that is the difference of each culture?
I am surprised to the opinions that there are some game users that do not like Dragon warrior(Japanese game title:Dragon Quest). Neddless to say, in Japan the most famouse and high quality and great story games are Final Fantasy series and this Dragon Warior series. FF series may be a little high level on the CG. But even now DG warrior series get high value from the broad game users in Japan.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone Review
I'm a Harry Potter fan and the day I bought this game, I played it, and I played it and I did it all day long, but one day, I think in the Valet Parking, someone stole it with my Gameboy Advance SP. Until this very day, I was looking for it and trying to get another one, but now I found it.
The BEST GAME EVER!!!!!!!! 5 STARS!!!!
My sister and I really love this game!!!! We got it going on a trip years ago (before the GBA) And we still love, and play it. We are both level 99, and have all the spells! It is easy to understand and also challenging. We DEFINATELY recommend it to everyone!! And if you have an SP, it will help, the game is kinda dark, but if you don't, it is ok!

ok i love this game, it's jsut that when i go out of the forbidden forest i have to defeat devil's snare and the knight and stuff but I DON't have mucas ad nauseam yet, which has to be found in the library!!!! i didn't even get to find the presents for christmas, so it just skipped i know this because i looked online for help on how to defeat voldemort and it says you have to have petrificus totalus and mucus ad nauseum! i didn't even get those so i can't defeat VOLDEMORT!!!!! i didn't hear snape and quirrel talking none of IT!!!!!! so i have to start all OVER AGAIN!!!! ... Completely old school.
If you're old enough to remember playing this game on the original NES and getting issues if Nintendo Power in the mail just for the maps, congratulations. This game mostly just follows the monotmous cycle of go to town, kill monsters to get gold to buy better weapon, go to next town, get more gold to buy next better weapon.
Two classics return!
When it comes to role playing games from the old days, there are two major series of them that stand out in gamers' minds - Squaresoft's Final Fantasy series and Enix's Dragon Warrior series. Although the former is obviously the more popular series in the modern age, the latter was once an equally respected and loved series - just ask anyone who played video games in the early nineties. In recent years, Enix did gamers a huge favor - they rereleased the first two games in the series on the Game Boy Color! Read on for my review of this, a single cartridge containing both Dragon Warrior I and II. The return of two amazin classics!!
I would like to fix my previous review and write a more clearer one. So bare with me. Up until last Fall, i've never heard about Dragon Warrior. I know you all think that i'm stupid for missing out on a great RPG like Dragon Warrior, so let me explain. I've been into the video game market for 13 years, since the age of 3. It's been difficult for me to know what games were coming out, when they were coming out and what they were. It wasn't until i got the internet and when i searched on this website did i realize that i missed out on alot of really great games, Dragon Warrior being one of them. Dragon Warrior was the first RPG game ever released in the United States. These two games were released in 1989 back on the Nintendo Entertainment System. They were the first games to pioneer the idea of land roaming, monster battling and building character experience. Enough said. Now to the games.

Best game since final fantasy
I beaten this game, it was so easy and fun, i got every monster from the ???? family, and darkdrium took me a long time to get, hes the best monster in the game, at lvl 80 when he could of reached lvl 99, i got him to all stats at its maximum level.
BEST GAME IN THE UNIVERSE!!!
I ogot this game when I was 5 and I INSTANTLY FELL IN LOVE WITH IT.I played it all night though i was 7.I had to have it taken away from me stuffed under my parents matress and they locked themselves in the room at night so i couldnt get it.Now 7 years later i am almost 13 and i look at toys r us games and see gameboy and i remembered this game..I frantically searched the gameboy games and there it was Dragon Warrior Monsters and also

Opinions, Opinions.
This game is a pretty good one for those who are into the whole monsters collecting, training, and battling scenario. Highly recommended. Also, check out this title: Revelations:The Demon Slayer for the same reasons as of the above.

Two very different game for one price
Any game that involves collecting monsters is going to draw comparisons to the all-holy Pokemon. It's unavoidable. So let's dismiss the assumption that Enix's Dragon Warrior Monsters 2 is a Pokemon clone. It is not. If anything, it's a merging of Pokemon and Monster Rancher. If you want to collect every monster imaginable, you're gonna need to put some of your fave beasts out to stud and breed whole new species. Dragon Warrior Monsters 2 is actually two games in one. The first half of the game is a very classical Japanese RPG. The kingdom's in trouble and it's up to you, the unsuspecting hero, to save the day. The second half is all about finding new monsters, building them up, breeding them, and repeating the process to infinity with the hopes of finding every last species. There are two separate games you can buy, Dragon Warrior Monsters 2: Cobi's Journey or Dragon Warrior Monsters 2: Tara's Adventure. Both titles are nearly identical. The same quest, the same results. But each title has unique monsters and magic keys. To reach all of the many lands of Dragon Warrior Monsters 2, you'll have to breed monsters and swap keys with a buddy playing the other game. Cobi and Tara are friendly siblings whose family has just opened a monster ranch on the tiny island of GreatLog. Their peaceful lives are soon disrupted when the irresponsible Prince Kameha and his monster sidekick, Warubou, accidentally destroy the GreatLog's navel plug (yes, you read that right). As often happens when an island's navel plug is destroyed, GreatLog begins to sink. Warubou acts as a temporary plug, but it is up to you as either Cobi or Tara to journey to five different worlds in search of a replacement plug. From here the RPG is pretty standard. Travel around fighting random monsters and talking to various people in the town. All this leads you to a Boss encounter where you finally retrieve the potential plug replacement. You can only take three monsters with you on each journey, the rest are left at your father's ranch. Choose wisely. Enix has done a nice job balancing this game. Monsters become increasingly difficult to defeat as you progress through the game, but never so much that it gets frustrating. Random monster encounters are never so common that they become annoying. On average, you'll hit one encounter on each screen. Battles aren't yours to fight, but are left for your monsters. The wilder a monster is, the less likely they are to follow orders in combat. Give them love (and boatloads of food) and they will become more obedient. Each monster is capable of learning skills that are of great help come combat time. All of the bosses are tough, but none are impossible to beat. The bulk of the game comes after the RPG is finished. Once the credits roll, you're free to search for magic keys that will unlock a myriad of worlds to explore, monsters to nab, and items to find. Breeding is the key to finishing both the RPG and finding all of the available monsters. Each monster will be either male or female. Choose a mom and a dad who are both 10th level or above and take them to Professor Monster at the Starry Shrine. Now it's time to dim the lights, put on some soothing Barry White, and let nature take its course. Apparently, Enix isn't too hot on parental values because before your newborn can hatch, mom and dad split, never to be seen again. And I mean never. Left behind is their powerful and unique offspring. With the link cable you can hook up with friends and battle your monsters, swap keys and monsters, or even breed two monsters together. The monsters that come from breeding with your buddy's crew are some of the best you can get. Breeding new creatures, exploring the many new worlds of Dragon Warrior Monsters 2, and dealing some smack-down to your friends adds a lot of depth to an already solid RPG. Dragon Warrior Monsters 2 is a step up from the original thanks to more monsters and the need to link up with a friend in order to truly finish the game. The RPG takes anywhere from 8-12 hours, but it's the monster ranching that makes the game a winner. It would have been nice if Cobi and Tara had two separate RPG's, but like the Stones said, you can't always get what you want. If you like Monster Rancher, this is the game for you. No, it's not as good or as addictive as Pokemon, but it is a great game nonetheless.

the most addicting game on the planet!
Dragon Warrior Monsters 2 series is by far the best RPG available.The play value alone makes up for the "primitive" graphics and sound. It never gets boring, it is far more satisfying than any of them "Blackjack" or "Tetris" cheapies played by old ladies on the bus to the nearest casino!

A very fun game
This is one of the best games that I have ever played. You and your brother have to catch the River King and the Sea King.You can fish in freshwater or saltwater.They are a lot of kinds of bait,lures.and flies that you can fish with.They are a lot of rods that you can buy.In each level there is a town that you can buy bait,tools,And lots lots more stuff.The town has buildings like a bait shop,a fish market,A grocery store,A inn,and more.You can pick flowers and catch bugs to sell at the stores. This game is very complicated, but after a while you will get used to it. It has an extremely well fishing engine, and it also works great to trade with Harvest Moon 2. If you've played the first one and liked it, you'll agree that this game is ten times the fun. It is also much, much longer than the first one and is sort of a two in one game. By that I mean you can choose to be a kid and go through his game or you can choose to be a teenager and go through his adventure. Those two modes have nothing to do with difficulty levels, but they do have everything to do with different adventures. There is also three more things you can do that are added from the first game including planting flowers, sea-shell diving, and catching bugs. All this in addition to the original games' modes of RPG elements, fishing (of course), and fighting animals. This game will cause you to dust off the ol' game boy and start using it. You'll be amazed at the quality of this game. It was even delayed three times so that the developer could polish up the game and add more lakes. Overall, you can't go wrong with this game. Great Game
Harvest Moon, it is fun enough to spend hours and hours on. Even though some games of Natsumes were not good I have liked them all. This game is fun and sticks to the nature of Harvest Moon by just allowing you to take care of your animals and crops on a day to day basis. The main objective of this game is to fulfill your grandpa's wish for you to become a Ranch Master. Although you have loads of time to overcome these challenges this game will keep you entertained for hours. I just recently bought this game and I think I have spent a day on the game. Some say this game is one of the worst, but I think it is a great game for it doesn't deal with saving the Harvest Goddess, it doesn't deal with your grandpa just died and he left his farm in the will, it doesn't deal with getting married, it doesn't deal with making friends, but it does deal with the main points of Harvest Moon; harvesting and caring for animals. Although the non-marriage thing is sort of a bummer and the events are sort-of boring the game is very fun. I hope this helps everyone make there choice on this game, for some reviews are not helpful so I bought the game anyways and It was great. If you don't like farming and taking care of animals then this game isn't for you; but if you do this game will be your #1 choice.

Harvest Moon=two thumbs up
Read this "kid's review!" I didn't want to go through all that real name stuff so I went with this kind of review,even though I'm 14(not quite that old,but hey).Anyways,Harvest Moon for GBC is a great game.I played it today actually.You do many things,such as plant crops,look after animals and even buy things with your own money at the local market.Sounds boring?It's not!I like the game because it's different,you are in control of every aspect of the game.You work as hard as you can or as little as you want.What's fun for me is earning money through planting crops and tending to your animals.It's also fun to go the the market and buy a bunch of food and things for your ranch.You can play hours on end and still not get bored-that's me at least.Summer is the best season for farming.The crops keep growing so you don't have to keep buying seeds.That's a huge convinience.Overall,I would say this game is one that you can simply play for fun and not be worriend about certain things unlike other games.It's not a huge challenge really.You just have to strategize.

egg dragon rocks my world
ok looking at this game , you may think that its just another game boy rpg that died last year but this is a lufia game the 3rd in the series. Great story and many hidden "things" remember the anicent cave? its now 200 floors and all random.........I died at 134 and bam lost everything..... its soo .....blip blip yummy that the only thing ill say is "I love the egg dragon more than EVER!!!!"

Not half as good as some of the newer games
As much as I'm a fan of Yugioh, I'm sad to say that lately my oppinion of the game has gone down the toilet. Games like Nightmare troubadour are better.

Extraordinary
Lara Croft on the tiny screen does some amazing things in a mighty small arena -- in the first half dozen panels of this sidescroller, she walks, runs, somersaults, jumps, grabs, pulls levers and shoots (with her magic Hollywood Special pistol that never runs out of ammo) scorpions, bats and snakes, and saves game at the first Silver Crystal to come along, with another crystal tantalizingly visible just beyond reach.It truly is amazing.The effect is like reading the Classic Comics version of Tomb Raider 3 -- lots of temples and jungles action, and every plot point and traditional Tomb Raider gimmick represented (or at least suggested) in the frame.Don't get me wrong, it's not a movie (even the "movies" are comic-style panels with dialog between still frames), and the graphics are primitive -- but Ms. Croft is rendered with character and flexibility intact.We get sucked into the game almost immediately, putting the GBC Tomb Raider (aka "The Nightmare Stone" but the 4-color printed paper label on this dark green transparent gamepak just says "Tomb Raider") in the same company as Link's Awakening.I was delighted to collect this, and even more delighted with the unexpected level of play.

This is one of the best rpg games for gbc i have ever played!! the weapons and armor are awsome. the worst thing about this game is that you cant save until youre at a sertain spot and its really hard to get past the dungeon but after that you save and the game gets easier. its not one of those games that youll just beat while youre stuck in traffic thats for sure! i beat it in about 2 months with tips and hints you should really get this game
