DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT BUY THIS GAME
This game takes horrible to a new level! On a 1-5 scale I give it a -9999999. The graphics are bad, spiderman's and everyone else's moves are limited, the sound effects are....(lets not even go there) and the game is EXTREMELY DIFFICULT. You would get frustrated, you would be ripping your hair out......... basically your life will get miserable. You will keep loosing no matter how hard you try. Even if you use a game genie. WHO THE HELL DESIGNED THIS VIDEO GAME? I WOULD LOVE TO KNOCK THEM OUT!!!!!!!!!

Warp ahead on Game Boy... but careful with the difficulty!
This was indeed a warp backward. As the Enterprise engaged for Game Boy, sad things came upon us. Extreme difficulty is the main problem. If you happen to have to fight the tough Romulans, there will be three ships. That in itself makes it hard. The Borg are impossible to stop, you never get to beam down to planets and you always get nagged by the officers in battle. But if you do not like how you were doing, you may be able to travel through time by by being shot while going into warp! Because you have a bridge view and your pad is square and even, the gameplay is a tad clunky as well as trying to make repairs. This game is good only if you can run by and pick it up. There is a small fullfillment level to this game...

Great game but not without its flaws
Let me start out by saying that this game is an exact port of the NES Star Trek The Next Generation game (a hard to find game by the way.) So if you've already played the nintendo game then you won't be impressed. Otherwise if you haven't, then your are in for a different kind of gaming experience.The gameplay is very different from the classic Trek game for NES. You don't even go to any planet surface. Instead you perform beam up the people, items, and what not on a little grid. You have to lock on to the person and then can beam them. This is where I got frustrated at first. The little stick figure flits around the screen so much that lock on at first is nearly impossible but you eventually learn to move your lock on cursor ahead of them that it becomes second nature.The space combat sequences are okay but once you get more than one ship on screen you can be in big trouble if you are not careful to look at your repairs needed. Another thing, the repair screen is just plain weird. Different, but flat out weird. These spark like things move on these circuits and you have to guide them to what you want repaired. Why they did this is beyond me but whatever. The music is just about non-existent. A little rendition of the Next Generation theme song helps but other than that no music at all.Still, I would recommend this game any big time Star Trek fan, like myself. To easy!
This is a good game, but you have to be realy good at games to beat it. The last review I read made the game sound stupid because you couldn't save the game. The reason is there are only five levels. It was easy for me. Don't get this game unless your a fan of the Terminator series, and your great at games.

This game is good
You must NOT quit the levels! The first 3 levels ARE lame.But after that the game gets interesting.
because i can't give ZERO stars...
Background info: Alright.
I'd have to say that this game is not that bad, but is not that good either! The graphics are mostly good. The only really bad thing is that it is so easy! I beat it in two days. I didn't play it till a month after I got it because it has no storyline and is hard to get into. There are way better games out there, but maybe you will like it better than I did. ... Read more

Where's Zero?
It's been a very long time since I played this game, so I may leave some stuff out. I remember when I played this game for the first time, there was only one game that I ALWAYS wanted to play, but I never found it, it was metal slug but I didn't know it was called metal slug, so I looked for other games that reminded me of it, then I found Megaman xtreme, so i got it and played it, but I could not believe how hard it was. " why is this so hard?" i asked myself, especially on one of the last levels,( I think there called Sigma stages or something)there was this one where you have to percisely conntrol a flying lift of some sort by jumping exactly at the right time or you would restart that area. it took me about..... probably a month to figure it out, then, whenI was up with the last boss( I think that was Sigma) it was incredibly difficult, but somehow I beat him using all the muscle in my hands(The game boy color was somewhat, uncomfortable) I even unlocked the hard mode, which I was very proud of because megaman xtreme was the hardest game I played back then(and I heard metal slug X was a very hard game). I have great memories with this game, including my first most difficult game I "partly" compleded.plus the longest review for a game I made.I would definetly not recommend this game to someone because of all the frusration I took.Unless your were as unchallenged as I was in video games.

This game is great no matter what anyone else says
This game I had a long time ago and I dont remember much about it but I do remember how much I lovedit.This games graphics werent the best but dont blame it its for gameboy color for crying out loud.People might complain about a few flaws here and there but its great.

This game is amazing! It is a GBC port of 2 classic SNES games. It's amazing how you can put this all from the Super NES onto a Game boy color*. When you first play the game, there are four bosses: Chill penguin, Storm eagle, Flame stag, and Spark mandrill. When you beat these Bosses + 4 SIGMA levels, you unlock Hard mode.It won't be easy. (Don't beleive the game, Hard mode is actually EASIER than Normal mode.) In hard mode, you fight these guys: Wheel gator, Armored armadillo, Morph moth, Magna centipede. Oh, and watch out for zain and geemel, THEY'RE BIG TROUBLE without all 4 armor upgrades. Also, there's an attack of every color: Shotgun Ice[Light blue], Storm Tornado[Lavender], Speed burner[Red], Electric Spark[Yellow], Spin Wheel[Green], Rolling Shield[Orange], Silk Shot[Gray], and Magnet Mine[Blue].Read more

BAD GAME
This game is a combanation of X1 2 and 3. its pretty fun but way to easy. with using DNA souls to buy upgrades make your charecter way to strong.boss stratgies suck and this is easyer then X5 that pretty sad. still it has the same classic music and graphics. also there a fully playable zero for all you zero lovers out there. you cant duck but thats not a down side. I thick they shoud make Xtreme 3 maybe that would be better. BUT DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON AN EASY GAME LIKE THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SUPER GAME BOY COLOR GAME
This is one of the best game boy color games I have gotten. The graphics are awsome the game play is awsome. There are tons of levels to keep your attention for hours. This game has memory so you can save your game and come back. You can play two different modes both as X or his counterpart Zero. X has all the cool guns and you can keep bulding different armor and all. Zero just has a sword. So I have not played Zero much. I think there is one level you need to play Zero to win, though. For me, I am 32, this game is very difficult. I have had the game for a couple of months and have only gotten to the 2nd level. My son beat the game withough any problem though.

The last good GBC game
Too many idiots have complained about this game (elsewhere), saying that it sucks and then giving "they should've made it for Game Boy Advance" as their reason.That's not a reason, it's an excuse.This is a great game, and if you'd rather play it on a GBA than a GBC, be my guest.Read more
