What kind of game is this?
konami has accomplished nothing by making this game. what a waste of plastic and microchips. in hopes that this hockey game would be good, it isn't! you might as well forget taking the puck to the opposing goal because chances are you won't even make it that far. konami should stop making hockey games and stick to games that don't involve much thought in producing. all this game is good for is wedging it under the leg of an unbalanced table or chair. if you are a loser, then this game is for you.

Worst ever!
This is a shockingly bad game, especially since Konami is known for previous games that were good.The play is too fast, players and puck are just blurs.You can't see a thing, let alone play the game. Madden 2000 for Game Boy Color
I thought this game was pretty bad. This is because I played soccer for the old Attari, which is at least 15 years old, and the graphics were just as good, only the gameplay was more realistic. this game is simple. One guygets the ball, another guy runs into him, he falls down, end of play.Without lighting it's impissible to see anything. Also, Some things aren'trealistic like 80 yard punts. Worst of all, there are no levels. I'veplayed games and even with the worst rated teams, which by the way all ofthe teams are just as good, all of the games I creamed the other team byover 50 points. Madden for the N64 was very good, but for game boy it wasbad.

Madden is a great game for the Color GameBoy
When I picked up Madden 2K for the Gameboy I was interested in seeing how EA/THQ can pull off the solid football game that is present on the PSX and PC. Game Boy Color?

Fun and exciting
This game is very fun. You never know what kind of fish you have hooked. It's very realistic. Even the weather changes in this game. If you wantchallenging fishing fish in the tournament. If you want some fun but justto relax, play in the Free Fishing. But I like the Tournament. And the goodthing is that you have like 7 places to fish at, even in the ocean. Who would have thought fishing could be so good on Gameboy
This is such a good game. You can catch 32 different fish and fish in 6 salt and fresh water locations. The fish are hard to catch if you don't usethe right lure or don't fish in the right spots. But if you take the adviceof the pro.'s you'll be reeling in a lunker in no time. Also, if you'vehooked a big one, he will give you quite a fight and you might even loosehim and your hook if you don't reel him in properly. The tournaments are socool as well, there is a lot of hype about it when in the game, and youhave to qualify to get to the Champs. A must buy.

I wouldn't recommend it
This is a pretty bad basketball game with a lot of flaws. You only have two people per team (which really stinks.) Secondly, the graphics are pretty bad, even for Gameboy Color (you want good graphics, look at the Zelda games for GBC!) And what's really annoying is the fact that you can't save, there's onlypasswords! I mean, by now, all GB cartridges should be able to save! My tip: look for a better B-ball game.

This game is so-so.
NBA Showtime is so-so. The bad things are that you only get to play with two players on each team. Second, you can't choose from the whole team. Last, the graphics are pretty bad. The good things are that the controls are easy to remember, and when you forgot the password to your latest season or playoffs it is there for you and you just have to copy it over.

This game is stupid!

In soccer You don't score 8-0
No matter what level of difficulty I put it on the game is way to easy. All you have to do is take a shot from the slightest angle and then the goalie will fly way left or right of the ball. It automatically goes in. NO FUN.

I am a huge soccer fan, and this is a great game. Yet I give it a four because at first, I thought it was a little difficult to understand how to work it but once i got the hang of it i couldn't put it down. They should make more soccer games for game -boys by the way i'm a girl.

I thought this game was reasonable. A was always caught playing with my atomic purple game boy late into the night.What I liked best about this game was it was realistic and always challenging I recommend other soccer games (Fifa 1999, Mls Shootout I think). not worth it!!!!!!!!!
Don't buy this game! Because first, you cant trade players or you cant sign free angets. 2nd the players look like they dont have helmets!!! 3rd there is no franchise and you cant make the gameplay hard. Every game you win by over 50 points. Your O-Line dosent block because when you wait in the pocket you will always get sacked! There is no person talking during the game! You dont here John Madden. Trust me during the season you will get very very bored! Listen to my advice and I hope this review helped you alot....

Not really a good gbc translation
I loved the computer version of madden 2001 but the game boy game just does not cut it. The graphics are moderate and the sound is ok, but the gameplay is just boring. The password season thing is horrible, as you have to remember a 15 letter password that changes each time you play a game just to get into a season. Bad

Good, but soooooo unrealistic
Ok, its fun, and like the only gameboy game i play.But its not like real snowboarding at all.You can't ride switch for more than one second on the courses, and in the pipe, you cant land switch.When u land, u just suddenly are riding regular again. And the music is awful, and theres no rails. I know i make it sound awful, but if u want some fun, go 4 it.

Fun, but no Mario Golf
Out of the three main Golf games I've tried out on Gameboy, Mario Golf, Hole in One, and Golf, I consider this one middle-ground.Hole in One Golf will work on either the GB Color, or the Pocket or Original, so if you don't have a Color yet, this one is an immediate pick over Mario.The game includes three courses of varying difficulty, with graphic quality ranging from fairly nice for the overhead course images, to fairly lousy for the side-view of your player hitting the ball. The play system is different that most other golf games I've seen and can take a little getting used to. The strength of the swing is determined by an arrow moving back and forth on a bar indicating how strong the hit will be, and you have to press the button when the arrow is at the strengh you want. Then an icon moves in a pattern over a picture of a golf ball, which you have to press a button on when it's on the location on the ball where you want to hit. Another deviation from most other games in the play moves left-to-right, rather than vertically. It's a little different, but doesn't take long to get used to. My only real gripe about the controls of the game is that when you go to hit the ball, it switches full-screen to an image of your golfer - you can no longer see the course, so if you didn't pay close attention to your distance from the hole it's easy to misjudge how much power you need in your swing. One odd feature of this game is the inclusion of "events," which basically means some character running out on the course and tossing your ball around this way or that. I suppose it adds an interesting twist to the game, but personally I just find it annoying and am glad it can be turned off.There is also a "tour" play mode, which allows you to see how you rank against other players on a roster. Also included is multi-player support via data cable. In a nutshell, if you have a Gameboy Color, I'd highly suggest spending a few more dollars on Mario Golf, it's a much better game. However, if you have one of the older systems, Hole in One has the fun of some nice graphics for the courses, multiple courses, close-ups of the hole as the ball goes in, and other nice things like that, even though the gameplay is a bit quirky. Owners of an Original or Pocket gameboy that would like a game that is a bit more realistic and challenging, although somewhat ugly, should look into the orininal Golf. ... Read more

this game is bad
dear readers DO NOT BUY THIS GAME in the begining the game was great then it became so easy if you want a challenging game don't get this one it is not good its impossible to get a base hit you get 1 base hit every 10 times you are up99% of the time you get a home run 0% of the time you steal a base you cant save the game so if you do season and you let's sayyou play 3season games then you shut it off you turn it back on it is erased that means you dont have those 3 games you played you can't make an erorr.

Cute game but very difficult
I received this game as a gift. I played it and the graphics are pretty good for Game Boy Color. But it is very difficult I cannot understand how to do anything in this game. I gave it to my son to play and he cannot either. I serve the ball and my players just stand there and do nothing until the game is over. Like most Game Boy Games the instructions were not much help either giving only general instructions - Do not put the cartridge in backward. Do not put the cartridge in your mouth. Etc.

Impossibly Difficult
This is a pretty cute little game. The graphics are pretty good. But for me it is impossibly difficult. I cannot do anything in the game! Even my son could not figure out how to play it. As with most game boy games the instructions were no help either. It only has general information. IE: Don't put the cartrige in backward. Don't put it in your mouth or you might choke. Etc.

Great Game

The coolest game
I cant belive that all the other people think that it is a ok game when it is SUPER.It is a challenging Game but also fun.It has cool sports and great gameplay it is truly the best tiny toons game ever.It has many sports to play with and famous characters.It would be cool if they keep making Tiny toons games but they dont.So in short the game ROCKS

Okay Game
If you love sports and bugs bunny charactors this game is definitely for you. In it you compete in different sports being different charactors from bugs bunny cartoons. I gave it three stars however for a few reasons. The first is: The graphics aren't great. Plus, no color. Another reason is that i don't enjoy sports that much. However i must say that for a sports game it is very fun and very cute. It also doesn't get boring very quickly. I would recommend it for younger kids who like sports and cartoons.

It just ain't fun like this
Don't get me wrong, I love playing NFL Blitz, but the portable versions are just godawful.While the first GameBoy Color version of Blitz is fun at first, it quickly wears thin.First off, you can barely see the football, next the graphics are really, really blurry (especially when you play it on an old GameBoy in black & white), and sometimes the controls are unresponsive.Now, I'm not saying the NFL Blitz games are bad games (most of them anyway, the recent GBA game is horrible), but you should take any other version of a Blitz game; whether its on PS1, PS2, Dreamcast, N64, Gamecube, or XBox; over this any day.

Motocross
This is a pretty fun game. There are many riders to choose from along with bikes. You can choose different race tracks and do short races, championships, and freestyle. The freestyle takes a little while to figure out how to do the moves. I would recommend this game if your a motocross fan.

Get it!!!!!
This is the best motocross game ever to hit GBC! It features 125cc or 250cc racing, with 15 riders to choose from in each catagory. For freestyle it has 8 tricks that u can see clearly what it is, and features about 12 freestyle riders. You can choose out of 10 pro tracks, and then tune up your bike for the weather conditions in each track, which will change. Or u can compete in the THQ race, which is inside an arena, with lights turned on, and it will measure your jumps for pro or the THQ races, but you have to be in Amature or Pro to get your jump measured. And you can change the diffuculty and the # of laps (3-9 laps). It shows it from the back with 3D graphics! I reccomend this game to everyone, motocross or not fan, it will your hours the funnest you'll ever have with you GBC! So get it before it runs out! ... Read more
