The best GBA title ever? Possibly...
I got Mario Golf Advance Tour for $7 and it's been my most-played game on any platform or console for the past 4 months... and I'm neither a golfer or a golf fan.
Not that much of a Mario game, but a good golf game
While this is probably your best bet for a worthwhile golf game on GBA, it isn't exactly a Mario game either. You only start with four playable Mario characters at the beginning of the game (Mario, Yoshi, Donkey Kong and Princess Toadstool) and your primary character in storymode is Some Anime-looking Dude you get to name, similar to Mario Tennis (except you get 8 characters right off the bat in Mario Tennis). You have to spend quite a bit of time unlocking things before you really come close to anything remotely Mario-ish. And there's a lot to unlock. The storymode in the game is very SNES-esque in its RPG presentation, and there's a lot of different mini-games that play by some unique rules (slot clubs, for instance, randomly selects clubs for you for one hole, so in essence you could be left with trying to par a 495 yard par 5 with a 4-wood and a pitching wedge) and some that are just conventional "closest to the pin" contests. Completing these mini-games, as well as tournaments (both singles and doubles) gives you experience points, which you can utilize to build up specific parts of your game, such as driving distance or spin control. And like I mentioned earlier, in the early going while unlocking things and building experience (which may take a while), there isn't a whole lot of Mario going on, and that may turn some players away.
Excitement around every corner
I'm an 11 year old how knows hardly anything about golf. This was the very first game I got for my Game boy and I love it!I stayed up untill 2 in the morning playing it!!! The first time you play, you get to choose between two characters ; a boy named Neil or a girl named Ella. Don't worry , you can change their namesto whatever you like! You belong to the Mario Club.You go to one of the four golf clubs, which are Mario , Dunes , Palms and Links and you can enter their tourney. You can do doubles with Neil or Ella , or singles , which is by yourself . If you get 1st , 2nd , or 3rd place , you get a trophey to keep in your room and you also get to enter another club's torney. After you win the Links you can choose to go to Peache's Castle and play the Mushroom course. This game goes on for a while , but it is one I'd highly recomend.

i love the sims for gba.. or the other ones at least... you can skip episodes and it just doesn't make any sence.. get the urbz or bustin out cause this stinks....

I was really excited to get the game...until a began playing it.The forced story line is not what I expected.I got through the game only because I wanted to see what was next in hopes that it got better (which it didn't).The side games are pretty lame.The only one I continued to play was kheel haulin cards.It was a decent game except when the computer takes YOUR cards at random!That was really frustrating.The game has no instruction on how to really play it, and why it is ok for the computer to take your cards and you can not take theirs.I wanted to throw the game against the wall a couple of times for sure.

Excellent game - better than the PC version
I had a copy of the PC version of this game, which had excellent graphics and special moves but only medocre game play.The PC version suffers from being way too easy to shut out any opponent on just about every level.On the plus side, the French team were hot!
Harry Potter Quidditch World Cup Game Boy Advanced
This game is the best game there is to play with friends and by yourself.

I was really excited when I got this game. I love the books and don't mind playing games either. I'm not a game freak who plays constantly, just on trips and stuff. This game is really fun, it catches the Quidditch spirit in everyone. In this game you can be any of the seven players. There isn't much difference between the keeper and chasers they all just fly around and you can't tell them apart. This game is really nice and a good choice for any Harry Potter fan who has dreamed of being out there playing with the quaffle or chasing down the snitch. This game is really easy to catch on to. At low levels it is really easy. You can dominate even if you've only played a little bit. However, the firebolt level keeps even the master in check. If I were you, I would get this game. ... This game is kind of fun. The horses don't look real and you get bored really quickly. It's tiring brushing your horse all the time. You can't compete in competitions either. I suggest getting "Let's Ride Dreamer" instead.

Madden NFL 2006
I bought this game for my 9-yr-old grandson. He says it's his very favorite, and he's played many others.

There is a passing game, but i must admit that some teams are hard. The graphics arent great, but they dont lag either. Its defintly a must have for any football fan.

If you have F14 Tomcat, don't waste your time with this one.It is almost identical to the "orginal", without many changes at all.The missions, music, sounds, and much of the graphics are the same as F14 Tomcat.Only 1 star for F14 Tomcat owners.
What is this all about?
I bought this game thinking that it would be like Defenders. I was horribly wrong. It is very hard to lock onto a target. I don't think that this game is racist, it is just hard.

Expanding on their successful F-14 combat simulator, Majesco moves you into the seat of the F/A-18F Super Hornet. If you have played F-14, than you will be at home with this 2nd offering. This is not an arcade style action game, it is a basic combat flight simulator similar in concept to what you would find at a Naval Air Station to train combat pilots. Flying from a carrier in the NAG and land bases near Iraq, you are a tasked with enforcing UN Resolutions to drive Saddam from power. While the storyline is now somewhat dated, and in hindsight historically inaccurate...the game play itself is a good way to fill a few empty minutes. Terrible!
This game is awful! Avoid it at all costs. This game started out as a FREE flash animation game on the PC. It was available for free download for years and years. This is a dirty attempt to cash in, and it clearly shows. Although a bowling game is indeed uncommon, it gets repetitive and boring after the first few frames. The animations don't change, the sound doesn't change, nothing changes... it's the same little minigame, over and over. Granted, bowling is technically like that, but it takes more in a video game to make it entertaining. Please, do not spend your money on this.... it's a pathetic excuse for entertainment. ... I thought sience SSX Tricky stunk on the Gameboy the SSX 3 on the Gameboy would be better. I was wrong. They equally stink. The graphics are actually worse too! And you can't do like anything or go anywhere. Get this game on a consle instead of the gameboy.

An excellent entry into the tony hawk world
This is such a perfect game for the GBA (or gameboy micro) because many of us who play these handhelds play them in short spurts, when we have 5 or 10 minutes of downtime here and there, we need a game that can be fun that gives instant gratification.

This game is ok. Some tricks are to easy and some are impossible. I plated it in my cousins house. I refused to by it.It is stupid. I will never play it again, not even at my cousins.

You can't go home again.
I played the original Firepro Wrestling on the Sega Saturn. It was released in Japan only and I needed a translation in English to do anything. My friends and I played this game over and over. In fact we still, to this day, say CRITICAL! Which is one of the few English words we could understand. When your wrestler was totally defeated he would be CRITICALed. The wrestler creation capabilities were and still are the very best offering from any wrestling game. It was 2 dimensional then and is still 2d on the GBA. If you are like me and don't care about graphics you may still enjoy this game. I bought it on Amazon and played it for about 3 minutes before checking out the wrestler creation. I was shocked to find the format had changed, but the tools for creation are still the same as they ever were. However my gaming tastes have changed a lot since 1999, and 2 dimensional graphics are just too hard to go back to. I can acknowledge the greatness of this game without actually enjoying it, but if it didn't cost me only 5 bucks I would be wrighting a way worse review. If you still pick up Mario Bros. now and again or if you run out to by every new Namco or Midway or Capcom "Classics" game. You may enjoy this game way more than I do now. You might actually get as much enjoyment out of it as my friends and I did 6-7 years ago. If you are either under 26 years old or are currently playing X-Box 360 or X-Box Live games like Halo2, steer clear of this one. 1999 rating 8.5 out of 10. 2006 3.3 out of 10.

Fire Pro Wrestling is awesome.
This is a great wrestling game. The best for the GBA next to the second version. You have to rename all of the wrestlers you know. This is to protect the copyright issues. A few of the hints to rename a)the nicknames chosen b)the names chosen and c) the finishers chosen.
