4-0 out of 5 stars A decent game for the GBA.
Tony Hawk Pro Skater 4 is a good game I would reccomend to buy. It is my personal favorite that I have so far, although I would not go far enough to say it is the best GBA game hand's down it is incredibly nice to have on long trips. This game feature's many skaters and is a great game to keep around the house. The game also
2-0 out of 5 stars Not Good For Gameboy Advance
This game is a dissapointment. Due to the gameboy's small screen and lack of buttons this game is extremely frustrating...not to mention the game's insane difficulty. Fortunately on Gamecube/PS2/XBox this game is much better.

4-0 out of 5 stars It is a GOOD GAME but IT IS NOT PERFECT!!!!!!!!
The "create your own skater" thing is cool, but, sometimes you lose your guy behind walls. My only complaint was that you could not move the camera.I recomend it with 4 STARS!! :-( :-) ... Read more

This game isn't bad but on the other hand it isn't good either. The graphics on this game aren't so good and you have no idea of where to go. (the arrows don't help either)

4-0 out of 5 stars Quad Power Racing Is a Hit!
Finally! A great racing game for the GBA that you will definitely enjoy. This is by far the best game I own. I love racing games and find the graphics to be crisp and vivid. The option of getting better quads with better traction, speed, and steering is cool because as you progress, your equipment does also. The game allows you to get passwords so that you can start off where you finished and it is really fun and addictive. I played it for about 2 hrs straight after buying it for [$]! What a bargain! the steering is very sensitive but you get used to it. It really does become challenging as you progress because you need to qualify to move on. Definite recommendation!

4-0 out of 5 stars ATV review
I don't know Gameboy Advance well, but we bought the ATV game to amuse us for a while on a trip (my 6yr old son like the semi-similar snowmobile game at the local arcade). The next thing I knew my mother in-law (aged 74) was testing it out... a little difficult for the 6 year old, but I like it (aged 43) as does my daughter (aged 11). I think it is a better use of the gameboyadvance than the Harry Potter game or Spongebob (we own both). Bill Hartel ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars A Great game for all Skateboarders!
Tony Hawk hit the jackpot when he and Activision Software Company came out with Tony Hawk's Pro Skater. The sequel to the game was an even bigger hit, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2.The second game was different in some ways. There are more objectives to accomplish in order to get to the next level. The game has new features like new skaters and Park Editor.I played the game and beat within a couple of days.Every time I play the game I figure out something new, like hidden areas, different tricks, and how to score more points. It helped me when I was skateboarding in real life.I learned new tricks through seeing how they perform them.I would recommend this game to anyone who is a skateboarder or is thinking about skateboarding. If your just looking for a cool game, this is it.

3-0 out of 5 stars Good, but FPW A was better
This is a very good game, but I'd recommend getting the first one for GBA instead. This one has done away with many of the features of the previous game, like tournament, league, and audience match. Now, in place of the audience match (career mode), they have a more traditional "fight your way through everyone" kind of career mode. The match types are the same (electricfied exploding cage, MMA, battle royal), but now without the tournament and league options. The roster is slightly updated, but not enough to matter (at least to me).So basically, this is a good game, but get the first one instead; it's better

4-0 out of 5 stars I love this Game
I bought this game before but I lost it but this game is still cool.

4-0 out of 5 stars A lot better than Road to Wrestle Mania for GBA.
This is without a shadow of a doubt the best wrestling game ever for GBA. This has every Organization from WWF,WCW,ECW,FMW,NJPW,AJPW,UFC,M-Pro and a lot more. It has almost every wrestler from U.S.A.'s Stone Cold Steve Austin,The Rock,Rob Van Dam,The Undertaker,Hulk Hogan,Goldberg to Japan's Great Muta,Jushin Lyger,Tiger Mask,Great Sesuke,Yuji Nagata,Hayabusa,Ultimo Dragon and a hell of a lot more. One new feature is a Biography section that is a key to help you to identify the wrestlers because they are given fake names because of copyright issues. I like it a very lot!!!!But the hard thing is getting to higher levels. Like the Elephant graveyard or Pizza Planet. There are no cheat codes for this game. But if you have a gameshark the codes rock!!!!!!!!

4-0 out of 5 stars Fun game
The Tony Hawk skateboarding franchise single-handedly rewrote the skateboarding genre when it was created a half decade ago. But its complex control structure, with its button combinations and extensive combo system, may have alienated the casual and younger gamer. Disney's Extreme Skate Adventure seems to be Activision's attempt at giving more inexperienced gamers a chance to experience the Tony Hawk gameplay in a more simplistic form, with mainstream characters in the place of professional boarders. The Game Boy Advance game is essentially training wheels for kids to wean onto the "extreme" skateboarding genre; it's easy to get into, and there's plenty of challenges in store for the younger crowd. But for folks already learned in the ways of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, it's a challenge just unlearning all the gameplay skills acquired from games in the series. Just like how the console versions of Disney's Extreme Skate Adventure build off the most recent version of the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater engine, the Game Boy Advance version, too, utilizes Vicarious Vision's engine as a foundation for its gameplay. Actually, it's more than a foundation; Disney's Extreme Skate Adventure is essentially based upon nearly everything established in the Tony Hawk series up to this point. It's just reduced to a game design that's more kid-friendly. Players will still be challenged with specific tasks to accomplish in several different skate parks, whether it's collecting icons scattered across the areas, or pulling off a series of tricks, or grinding or jumping over a specific location on the map. Many times when a task is complete, a hidden portion of the map is unlocked and skateable, which is a good visual cue on just how well the players performing in the game. These tasks are given to players from various characters specifically based upon the theme they're in; if they've assumed the role of Buzz Lightyear, Woody, or Jessie, the skate arena's theme is either Andy's room or Pizza Planet, and taking orders from the Army Men sergeant, Hamm the piggy bank, or the squeaky aliens. If they want to scoot around as Simba or Nala from The Lion King, Pride Rock and the Elephant Graveyard are their playgrounds, with folks like Timon and Pumbaa calling out the tricks. Tarzan and Terk will board around the jungle pulling off tricks in either the Jungle Treehouse or the Human Camp, with Tantor the elephant or a young Jane telling them what to do. Since the game's based upon the Tony Hawk gameplay, the same techniques and tricks still apply in completing these tasks; most of them are timed, so running out of seconds on the clock without pulling off the appropriate action will fail it. But...if the player's still in the middle of a combo chain when the time runs out, the game waits for that chain to end before ending the mission. So skilled players can complete a lengthy task in much more time than what's given. But the gameplay has been "dumbed down" from Tony Hawk, most likely to give younger gamers a feeling of accomplishment and the sense that they're pulling off the same tricks as their older siblings simply by pushing the A button. Most of the moves in the game, from kickflips to grinds to liptricks to manuals are all mapped to the A button. For folks not already skilled in the ways of Tony Hawk will thrill to this control scheme since it will make them look like a pro without much effort. But gamers who can already handle themselves in extreme sports titles may end up confused by Disney's Extreme Skate Adventure's simplicity. Everything learned has to be forgotten. Granted, they'll still have to press the B button to jump, and transfers are still mapped to the shoulder button, so the controls aren't entirely simplistic. The one-button gameplay is a little limiting, and it does cause some problems trying to pull off, say, a grind on a lip instead of a grab. And while falling off the board still happens in Disney's Extreme Skate Adventure during a particularly harsh stumble, the developers try to limit these so the player doesn't get frustrated. However, this works against the gameplay since the combo counter awkwardly resets itself when players don't complete a move's animation before landing it. Hitting an airborne kickflip too late, for example, will cancel out the points combo and erase the points earned; in Tony Hawk, this would cause a visual cue to show that the move failed (the player falls flat on his face). But in Disney's Extreme Skate Adventure, the indication isn't made nearly as clear since the boarder doesn't stumble...the trick text simply turns red and disappears. But using the Tony Hawk engine does offer a lot of graphical and gameplay benefits. The polygonal engine handles the wide variety of Disney characters extremely well; Buzz Lightyear in particular looks fantastic with stickers plastered all over his body, and it's just difficult not to swoon in cuteness over the animations given to Simba and Nala as they skate over their locales. The levels have been simplified so as not to give this isometric view that familiar M.C. Escher effect, but it'll still take a few times around the part to orient your perspective. Disney Extreme Skate Adventure even features a few multiplayer modes, like HORSE (but using either specific text from the location, or customized by the player)...but they're only hot seat, one system modes. No link cable support. It is a shame that the game doesn't feature any sounds from the movies that they're based on; the music is extremely generic, and while the jungle and African themes are followed in the Tarzan and Lion King levels, the tunes made for Toy Story levels just don't seem to match the film's style. Disney's Extreme Skate Adventure does have its gameplay challenges no matter what your skill level, and with dozens of tasks to perform in each of the game's skate parks, it's not a quick romp. But when all is said and done, I'd just rather play the true Tony Hawk instead of this watered-down experience. But for the kids not introduced to the ways of the Hawk, this one's for you

I hate the way new video games are. There so nerdy and why they have plots I don't know. Because of that I only play older video games. Pac-Man is my all time fav, and I also like the arcade Mario Bros, Zelda, and the three Donkey Kong games. This is not as fun as the first but I like it better than the Donkey Kong Jr. Donkey Kong is a lot more ape looking. The goal is your Jumpman, and you have tofight off bee's and chase Donkey Kong. 5-0 out of 5 stars Outstandingly Realistic
I have never seen another GBA game with the level of realism that Virtual Tennis has.A huge amount of data was compiled into the program, making it the best GBA program I have seen.
3-0 out of 5 stars Screen too small to play well
I find the training to be more fun then the tennis turnaments themselves. There is a connection to the game when you train a player with low stats and make him strong enough to challenge the top dogs and win. It's nice to have well known tennis pro names in this game but again, you're playing someone else with little attachment.
3-0 out of 5 stars A decent bargain game
Virtua Tennis is a good GBA tennis game, if not up to the standards of tennis games on other more advanced platforms. You can direct the ball in a general direction, but in general the ball will just keep going to the same couple of spots.Serving is well-executed, and is one area where you can really excell with some practice. The World Tour game mode is the most interesting; you help build two players, a man and a woman, to the top of their respective circuits.Unfortunately, this requires both singles and doubles play, and the computer doubles players are really poor players, alternately hogging the court, and later running away from the ball. The game has some problems, but is moderately diverting, and a good bargain. ... When my friend got this game for XBox, I thought this game would stink. My bro and my friend played it all day long. So then I played it and...it was OK?! So then about a month or so I asked my friend if I could borrow Rocky for XBox. So I started to play it, and once I learned the controls, I liked it! So while my bro was playing a match, I went and looked up Rocky for GameBoy Advance. It looked awesome, so I put it on my birthday list. Well, I gave Rocky back to my friend, I was sooo sad! The next Sunday, my mom took me to get my science project materials. After we got them, we went to Toys R' Us(You guys rock)... I was so excited to get home and play it. I started in Movie Mode and couldn't get past Spider Rico. My stamina meter kept falling too fast. So I started working on the Heavy Bag and then got past Spider Rico. I then completed the whole movie mode. I had every boxer except the last two...??? The ROCKY STATUE and APOLLO MAX! So I completed Knockout Mode on Medium and Hard. I had every boxer in the game! I now play this game with Rocky V, Rocky Statue, and Apollo Max. The Movie Mode can give 5 to 10 hour of straight through play. It is awesome! The sound on this game is beautiful...especially "Gonna Fly Now." The gameplay is awesome too, there are eight punches, four left and four right. I totally recommend this game to any Rocky/Boxing fan, and even if you're just looking for a new GBA game, buy it... ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Helps teach scoring
This is great game I have had it since i was 11 or 10 and now im 15 and i just started playing it again. I am playing it again because i am trying out for my high school tennis team and this game really teaches you the rules and the scoreing and its really fun!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Gamebay Game EVER!!!
I have owned this game for a long time and it never gets boring. I first got it when I had a Gameboy Color. Now I have a Gameboy Advance SP and I still play it more than any other games I have for the Gameboy Advance (such as Mario Kart or Pokemon Emerald). If you are thinking about getting this game I would HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend getting the N64 version and a Transfer Pak. Although the game is awesame, it doesn't do too well graphically speaking and seeing the character you made in 3D and playing with it against your friends makes Mario Tennis the best Multiplayer game ever. I have been playing this game for over 5 years and it's still my favorite game. Based on reviews I've read on "Mario Tennis Advance" I would not recommend getting that game. I have not played it, but everyone who gave it a good review had only played it a few times and mentioned how easy it was. The cons mentioned how it paused every time someone used a power shot. In my opinion, it's the same as the Gameboy Color version except with slightly better graphics and "special" powers that take away from the game. If you're looking for a game you can enjoy for months, I'd highly recommend this game.

5-0 out of 5 stars Mario Tennis: Best Game for the Game Boy EVER!!
I first played Mario Tennis at my friends house, on his N64. It was pretty fun, difficult at first, but I got the hang of it. Aiming the ball is very tricky at first (I can't get my dad to figure it out), but after a few hours you'll be aiming as if it were natural. I didn't have an N64 at the time, so I bought the Game Boy version. At first I was disappointed by the small selection of characters, but when I started playing the Mario Tour (the actual game, not the practice or Mini game) I really enjoyed it. Now I've beaten the game and am half-way through playing as a girl. If you have an N64, I highly recommend getting the N64 version and a transfer pak too. The transfer pak doesn't cost much (about $15 if you buy it new) and it lets you transfer the character you created on the Game Boy game to the N64 game. The graphics are much better on the N64, but there is no "Mario Tour" (the best part of the Game Boy version). If you transfer your charcter to the N64, you can win tons of trophies in the N64 version and from all the games you play to get the tropies, you'll gain tons of experience, making you even better. I've gotten my character so good, my friends call it a "cheat character", even though it's perfectly normal. I recommend this game over the N64 game even though it's graphics aren't as good, because the game is so much more fun and has so much more to do. This is definately the best game for the Game Boy ever and I'm suprised it hasn't done better in sales. ... Read more

First off, let me start by saying this is somewhat of an unknown series, obviously overshadowed by the blockbuster Tony Hawk franchise.Too bad.The Kelly Slater games (I've played PS2 and GBA versions) are near flawless video game versions of surfing. Not only are the graphics at the top of the heap, but the controls are smooth and intuitive, once you get the hang of the waves.4-0 out of 5 stars Surf fans!

4-0 out of 5 stars Awesome Game
Super Dodge Ball Advanced is a great game.In my opinion, its got lots of replay value.Sure, you can beat it in a half hour or less, but its a sports game, so you can keep playing. The graphics are average, but how good graphics do you need to play a dodge ball game anyway. The music is alright, but a little repetitive. The game can be either really hard or really easy and anything in between with the five difficulty settings and other settings too such as, how tough it is to throw a super throw. You can link up, but I never have so I couldn't tell you how fun that is.To sum it up here is a list of pros and cons.3-0 out of 5 stars Fun but shallow
This game is a blast but I must say its extremly shawdow.Fans of the old dodge ball game from an older nintendo system will probly love this game, I did but then I unlocked everything in a hour or so, sure there is more matches to play but its just a bunch of the same, I wore this game out in a day or two which is a shame because its a great game...just not enough substance.Get it if you pay $$$ or less definatly, think about it strongly otherwise.

This Game has a lot of the same characteristics of the original for the Super NES, which will make older gamers happy. But the game play doesn't change enough for my taste.Even the indroduction of new, more powerful teams didn't peak my excitement. In my view, it's worth renting, but because a good gamer could beat it in a half hour, it's not worth buying. ... 2-0 out of 5 stars Not worth your money, unless you get it for $5
Graphics: The graphics are OK, except for one thing: Every player looks the same!(except for having different skin color)1-0 out of 5 stars Weak
I was really looking forward to playing this game, but it left me wanting more. The graphics are great, but it's extremely difficult to hit the ball, which other reviewers have pointed out as well. Sure, it's good to have a challenge, but this is just too difficult. The pitching and fielding is easy to master, but hitting--which in a video game is 95% of the fun--is just too damn hard. Save your money.

5-0 out of 5 stars Very entertaining
When I bought NHL Hitz 2003, I wasn't expecting much (I got it used), especially since NFL Blitz 2003 (made by the same company) was disappointing. But, this is the best GBA hockey game out there, and I play it a lot, mainly since I can't watch hockey becuase of the lockout.
5-0 out of 5 stars Good game
This game is a good one, the 3on3 action is pretty cool, although you only get all 30 NHL teans, and no international teams ( no GBA hockey games have them ). Overall its great except some of the uniforms are not correct colors and there is no trade player or create a player features which is one of two flaws in this game.

5-0 out of 5 stars The best hand held hockey game!!!
This game is amazing, a must for any hockey fan or non-hockey fan a like. Its an excelent conversion of the playstation version, which i also think is great.Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Fun & Cool,No Upsets
The people in charge of making American Idol: The Game made it as best as they possibly could. First of all, you get to pick your gender and your wardrobe, and then you start singing in the "audition" round. If you do well, you go on to sing in another round with another song and another outfit. This pattern continues, but the songs get faster and harder. Some might ask, how do you play this game?
4-0 out of 5 stars Seems fun?
hey guys, tell me more about the game! I have a ds- it's awsome- this gamewould work on it.
3-0 out of 5 stars It's...uhhh...ok
Ok, first things first, it's got music you've heard of. Great. It's got bad graphics. Paula looks like an old Charlie Brown Comic. Simon looks like a pixelated monster. Randy is the worst, he looks like a Hershey Kiss. Bad. The singing, bad. Even if you've got all of them happy faces, you're pitch is like someone on a trampoline, up and down. This would work great on the Nintendo DS. 64-bit graphics. YESS! Sound, you would sing, the DS has a microphone! Ahhh.... I can only dream. For now I recomend Karaoke Revolution Party. Bye ... 4-0 out of 5 stars Good while it lasts
Well,In my opinion this is better than the tony hawk's sreies. The shaters in tony hawk are so tiny! But in this game, they are a good size, not to small, not to big!But after about 3 weeks i was so tired of it because whenever you win a medal or somthing,it doesn't unlock a new skatepark or skater(except for 2 skaters that you can get without winning anything). So it makes it the same thing over and over again! And there are only 8 skaters to choose from.So i beat the game in 1 week.It was fun while it lasted.1-0 out of 5 stars TERRIBLE game
...There is hardly any skaters and it is hard to do the moves...

1-0 out of 5 stars horrible
It's not worth the $$$ the graphics r horableRead more
