4-0 out of 5 stars This Game Rocks!!!!!
This is the first time that I have owned a Madden football game. I can't compare it to the other games, but this one rocks! I love the highlight stick and hit stick.
5-0 out of 5 stars Keeps getting better.
As we near the end of the life span of the last generation of consoles, key franchises that have appeared year after year begin to wrap up their yearly development cycle. Crazy as it may sound, Madden NFL 07 could be one of the last times we see Madden on the Xbox, PlayStation 2, or the GameCube. With that in mind, it's not altogether surprising that Madden 07 doesn't really push the envelope terribly far. The game includes a few new control features and some mode tweaks (nearly all of which are also available in the Xbox 360 version of this year's game), but for the most part, it feels like the result of a series pushed as far as it can possibly go on a given platform, and you definitely get the sense that Madden on current-generation consoles is beginning to wind down. However, for at least this last year, the veteran player outraces the up-and-comer in the Xbox 360 version, and there are certainly enough compelling reasons to check this year's game out on the older consoles.
4-0 out of 5 stars It's Madden football, nothing more
There's a lot of different opinions of Madden NFL 07 swirling around so I figured I get in on it as well. For my money, to just have a new football game is worth it. Seeing as how Madden is now the only football game available from year to year, if you don't like Madden's brand of video games then I feel so sorry for you. However, I think this is a great installment. By no means is this the best released but there's no doubt that it's a lot of fun.

4-0 out of 5 stars Technically better, slower
The game is slower compared to its predecessor, it surprised me when I tried to put it in fast mode but actually it starts this way. I feel it is easier to make a goal (although I have only tried Semi Pro) than the previous version.
4-0 out of 5 stars I like it so far
I just bought this game yesterday. The physics of the ball are unreal, even compared to FIFA 06 Road to the World Cup.It's almost too real, the way the ball bounces off the head, chest, etc. There are lot more shots blocked by defenders than in previous games. The manager mode is really indepth too - if you don't understand the way transfers work, youth academies, etc - you'll be a little lost in the game. But the game play is good, and most of the rosters are up to date - even if Ashley Cole is still with Arsenal, despite the fact that he was swapped for William Gallas on August 31, 35 days before the version came out. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Great Addition to the Team
I just bought this game yesterday and played on the new Team Tour feature they introduced for at least 3 hours (I'm a dork, I know, but I couldn't put the controller down). The character creation screen is great, you can create a character to look almost exactly like you, as well as buy clothing and accessories that you may own and wear. They have a few new courses, and a larger number than my previous version of Tiger Wood PGA Tour 03' (of course). This game, although immensely better on the XBOX 360, is a great game for all ages and sports games lovers all the same. It's a game you can pick up at any time and play for a half hour or for hours on end.Highly recommended for ages 10 and up, and great for a pick-up game with your friends. The controls are great and the graphics are phenomenal (The water looks very well refined and presents an amazing mirror image on any hole). If you liked any of the previous games and want to upgrade to the newest one, then $40.00 is a small price to pay for endless fun. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent, but not perfect
This game is a stellar game. There are a few cons, such as the camera angle on sideline inbounds passes and tip-offs. The free throw shooting is also slightly more confusing than it needs to be. Other than that, it rocks. The graphics are EXCELLENT! The playmakers freestyle thing is excellent - LeBron rocks! The dunk contest is the same as '06, which is fine because it was good then too! It is a little too hard to modify your dunks because the buttons must be pushed at exactly the right moment.

5-0 out of 5 stars Keep it going...
First of all, let me sum this article up, this game is worth $19.99 IF you're not buying xbox 360 anytime soon. For those who have played last year's 2K6, yes, 2K7 has the same great graphics! But gameplay has improved mostly defensively. example, Mike Dunleavy, like in real life, is NOT driving to the basket dunking on three defenders. Like in real life, as long as you have a decent shot blocker down low, no one can dunk at will with exceptions like King James, Air Canada, T-Mac and Kobe of course. Defense has improved alot. You can not drive to the hole with your poing guard every play. There is also improvement with crowd noise and momentum swing just like the real NBA. At first I didn't want to get this game because I thought it would just be a roster update, but gameplay has improved for the best. This basketball game is the BEST since NBA Live 2001 on PS1! I'm glad 2K sports can at least beat EA with this since they took the best football game ever away!

2-0 out of 5 stars Same as 2k6
While I still contend that the 2k series is better than the Live series at being a more accurate, fun and realistic approach to basketball, I was reallydisappointed with this years go around. Not because it's a bad game by any means, but because it's nearly exactly like 2k6 in terms of the play. Whereas the xbox 360 version features new player movements, animations, etc. this one is just last years version with new rosters. If you own a 360, definitely spend the $60 to get that version, but if you're like me and stuck with the old xbox and already own 2k6 then this isn't worth your time. However, if you don't own any basketball games and are wondering between this and Live, 2k7 is where your money should go. I guess last year's version pushed everything it could out of the xbox, so there's not much more they could've done. Maybe that's why this game was $30. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Some additions were great others not so much
Madden 06 is still the Madden everyone is addicted. The biggest changes this year is the inclusion of the qb vision and precision passes. These two things are by far one the best new features in 06. It addes another layer of realism and lot more challenge for those who constantly pump up the difficulty level. It takes a little getting used to but once you get a feel for it your gonna love it. The downside is that those two things are really the only new features worth mentioning. One big add on for 06 besides the new qb features is the Superstar mode. On paper it sounds very promising and for the first few minutes I was enjoying myself then massive boredom sets in. There are a few words that describe superstar mode well let's see: tedious, boring, lame, stupid, repetition!!!!, oh and did I mention boring and most importantly crap. It is unfortunate that the Superstar mode turned out to be a collassoul failure but honestly EA what is the fun in playing through endless practices and retarded interviews and acting gigs. Sure making idiotic rants to your agent can be fun but nothing lasts forever. Unless you really like doing the sme thing over and over you'll be simulating just about every event on your calendar besides actual games. I hope that in the upcoming Madden 07 that the superstar mode is fixed. Knowing EA my hopes aren't to high. The one player perspective thing for 07 sounds good but there has got to be more changes made to the superstar mode than just that. Other flaws present in 06 include that god awful radio brodcaster Tony Bruno and John Madden who probably hasn't recorded a new line of dialogue for the game in years, unfortunately that is probably a good thing. So overall Madden 06 delivers what the gamers want. The game has it's flaws but 06 proves to be a whole lot of fun. I can't wait for Madden 07, just about a month now, which should touch up the issues in 06 but who knows how much.

5-0 out of 5 stars great but playbook glitches
it is a great game good graphics, good sound, good button layout and fun gameplay! this part i HATE!!!!!. i love to make playbooks but you cant use them in season for instanstce i made a play where a wr lines up as a hb and i run the hb pass play but instead of willie parker its randel ell or ward. or moss or porter. i was so exciteed! then i went to fanchise mode and changed my playbook and i could not find my playbook. my advice ea sports in madden 07 make ur playbooks usful in season!

5-0 out of 5 stars NCAA college football 07
"A great comeback"
1-0 out of 5 stars Will Return '07 & Keep Playing '06
The graphics, playbooks, and many other game features seem to be slightly improved (not $50 worth though) but the controls are horrible. They've eliminated the 2005 classic control option. Both new control options have eliminated the ability to switch which player you control in 2 directions - example: you're controlling the middle linebacker & want to switch to the right linebacker at the line of scrimmage. To do that, you've got to scroll through all eleven players to get back to the ROLB, and hope you don't scroll too far or you have to start over. You've also got to hope that your opponent doesn't hike the ball while you're scrolling - funny, the people I play online aren't likely to wait until I'm controlling the guy I want. This may not seem like a big deal, but for me it makes the game almost unplayable online.
2-0 out of 5 stars Bush on cover explanation
John, the reason bush is on the cover is because it's against NCAA regs to use a college player's likeness to make money. Therefore they have to use kids that are no longer playing college ball. That's also why there are no names for any of the players in the game.

4-0 out of 5 stars the elder statesman of console hockey ages gracefully
most of us cut our teeth on NHL Hockey for Sega Genesis back in the day, (okay, maybe Ice Hockey or Blades Of Steel on 8-bit NES) and EA's juggernaut has been lumbering forwards (sometimes sideways, rarely backwards) ever since.as gamers face another change of seasons and another "next-gen" console war, we're faced with the last few iterations on the current Xbox/PS2.now the current gen of NHL has been fairly well maligned, and since 2003 properly so.given EA's seeming lack of interest in making this series sparkle one has to wonder if the waning months of Xbox will yield some seriously scary results.fortunately, we're lucky to have been graced with a winner.

5-0 out of 5 stars A fun game
I am not a fan of EA they always try to rip you of.I have played 2 games in race to the Heisman the first i played in j varsity the next game varsity. i play as Ohio State my first game was maimi of ohio the next was as you all know Texas i bley texas out like 82 to 8. it was outrages the graphics are good the game is fun so far. I switched contols from 06 to 05 i love to run my QB but playing in 05 controls i cant pull the ball down to run it if somone knows please tell me overall a good game.

3-0 out of 5 stars Easy?Yes.Groundbreaking?Hardly.
Sure, this game is still fun to play; but on the other hand, we've all played this game last year when it was called "NCAA Football 2005."The only REAL difference between 2005 and 2006 is that the latest title is 100x's easier than 2005.
1-0 out of 5 stars Lobs gallore,80YD TD passes everytime.BORING.
I can't believe how many people are saying how "realistic" this game is.That can not be further from the truth. All the CPU does is lob the ball down field on 3rd and long plays and the receiver catches it 80% of the time regardless of coverage. What fun is that? This in itself is highly unrealistic.Don't even get me started on the other things this game does. NCAA 2006 is nothing but an arcade game, realism is thrown out the window in this one.EA does not know the meaning of AI.The only difference between the levels is the amount of cheating the CPU does.

4-0 out of 5 stars Money well spent
This game is a blast! The controls are a little tricky at first but once I got the hang of it the game rocks.Great graphics and zoom ability to see facial expressions. The computer version has a lot more to do within the game then the other versions.Super fun!

5-0 out of 5 stars Addicting
The sims 2 on xbox is one of the best games I have ever played. You have the ability to control your sims every move. This game is very addicting and provides many hours of fun and enjoyment. The sims 2 on xbox is good for people that don't have a powerful enough to play the pc version. However the xbox game does not include the ability for your sims to age. But it is still a very fun game and it provides many hours of fun.

4-0 out of 5 stars Fun!
I love this game.It is sooooooo addicting! lolIt easily draws you in once you start playing.I always say i'm gonna play for like 30 mins to 1 hr...but 3 to 4 hrs later I put the controller down. =)I rate this game overall a 4 b/c in my opinion, Bustin Out had way more customization options for your home.In Sims 2, there is no pool table or swimming pools. That's just so wrong! You HAVE to have a swimming pool but alas it's not in Sims 2.Good thing I also have Bustin Out! lolI recommend this for Sims fans. For newcomers, I recommend Bustin Out first. ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Graphics or motion problems galore
Some of the courses on the PC game work great and are a lot of fun. Other courses, such as Bethpage, Pumpkin Ridge, Kapalua, do not work properly. The motion of the graphics is segmented so that timing becomes almost an impossible challenge. Not on every shot, but enuff to ruin a score on the hole and with a few problem shots on different holes, the round. The 2005 game does not have this problem and its graphics are far superior in any event. Really hope that this problem is corrected for the PC game in '07.

4-0 out of 5 stars can't really complain too much
this is probably the funnest, most addictive game i've ever played. i bought 2004 a couple years ago and i've been a fan of this series ever since. the graphics are great, and the game play is very realistic. it's almost like you're watching golf on tv when you play this game. one thing i like about this game is that you never run out of challenges. with the real time event calendar there's a new challenge every day, and with the pga tour season mode, and rivals mode you never run out of things to do. i've been playing this game for a couple months now and i still havn't beat it. this game is great, but there are a couple things that keep it from being a full 5 stars. once you create a golfer, and build his statistics up until they're maxed out the game gets really easy. it's still a lot of fun but you never lose and rarely hit a bad shot. i also thought there should be a lot more golf courses in this game. playing the same couple courses over and over again starts to get old after awhile. another thing that i don't really like is the game breaker feature. it was cool at first when i first started playing the game but some of the shots you can make when your gamebreaker meter is full are just rediculous. i used my gamebreaker on one shot and the ball landed in a bunker, rolled up and out of the bunker, through the rough, onto the green, and into the hole for an eagle. thats just rediculous. its basically cheating. you can knock down eagles and double eagles like nothing with a gamebreaker. lastly, there are a lot of glitches in this game. sometimes you'll find the announcers talking about something completley different than whats actually going on. you'll get the ball on the green and they'll yell oh what a nasty shot, its in the rough. this happens a lot throughout the game. all complaints aside, this is a great game, it's fun, addicting, and definatly worth the money. i'll be buying 2007 as soon as it comes out.

5-0 out of 5 stars Hole in one
This games is great. I am a new fan of sports games. I have been playing this with other guys at work (I have a great job) and we have been rocking the house taking turns and rooting each other on. Even the girls get into watching.

5-0 out of 5 stars Wow they always get better
wow. the gameplay is a bit different from winning eleven 8, but that only makes it funner. dont be like fifa. fifa is always the same it seems like, but with a more updated roster. Online is fun for this game. there is 1 problem with online, most the time you get one half of lag while your oppoint doesnt. then he gets the lag the second half. but all you gotta do is D one half then go out attacking the next. Master League is great. Wow never gets old.im in year 2010 so i mean it keeps going and going. you may have trouble scoring, but you just gotta find the right formation.
4-0 out of 5 stars Great animation!!!! But where are the fouls?
When you are in div. 2 in master league they call a lot of fouls on the himan player but not cpu. then div 1 they dont call as many fouls on u but there is still no fouls on the cpu. when i am runging beside em and they do not fall down i get yellow cards. but then they trip me in the "PK Box the refee says it was clean that is the only bad thing about other then that it is great..

5-0 out of 5 stars Fantastic Game
I was excited when I finally got my copy of the new Winning Eleven series. I owned WE8 for the last couple of months and immensely enjoyed it. WE9 is no different. There seems to be some difference in game controls but the game play stays the same. I think they followed the "if ain't broke do not fix it" which works with WE series. I noticed that the shots became a bit more sensitive to the touch and more powerful. Not to mention there are more licensed teams, especially Arsenal and Chelsea. However, with this franchise you don't notice what the team or player names are since you loose yourself in the game.

4-0 out of 5 stars KO Mohammad Ali !!
This game is great fun, high on adreline, good graphics and the best of all, lands your punch like no other :) Among the highlights, I loved the ESPN Classics where you can relive the greatest boxing rivalries that existed in the world. By taking on the role of a previous champ, you get to play his moves! For instance, Ali is nimble, has stamina etc. while Frazier has deadly power behind his punches. But ofcourse, the main highlight of the game is the career mode, where you get to create your own boxer and make him a champ in any weight class! The game has amazing punch control and is extremely addictive. On the negative side, it lost charm after 40+ fights - coz most of my rivals had better physical fitness ratings than my boxer :( Overall, highly recommended - you will love it till you get tired of it.

3-0 out of 5 stars Serviceable, but riddled with minor imperfections
I decided to rent this title after seeing this game being played by some of my brother's friends on the Xbox 360. With my curiosity, and my newfound powers as an 18-year-old, I rented it and popped it into my Xbox. What I had expected was a good fighting title that would consume many hours of my life. Unsurprisingly, it did... for the first day.
5-0 out of 5 stars I don't own it because I have a question that I want someone to answer
People who own this video game I want to know what weight classes are in this game. I know their is going to be Featherweight, Lightweight, Welterweight, Middleweight, Light Hevay Weight, and Heaveyweight but is their classes like super middleweight or Jr. Lightweight? Tell me all the new weight classes if their is any new ones.

4-0 out of 5 stars Alcohol and Tiger woods - the greatest duo since Lennon and McCartney
Tiger, Tiger Tiger... This game is somewhat of a letdown? I mean - there is so much more to the game that we don't get to experience... where is the Phil "I have man boobs" Mickelson getting up tiger for not having the best equipment... Where is Tigers smokingly hot wife? Where is john Daley throwing down a six pack before the third tee? Where is the option to use the broomstick putter? I mean - come on EA - give me 30 minutes with your design team and we will have much more realistic golf game.
1-0 out of 5 stars spinal ripper outerer
this game is so boring i choked on my nesquick and it ripped out my pelvis then my friend hit a hole in 1 and choked on my pelvis which ripped out his spinal and then it hit a oncoming car which made the driver choked on my friends spinal and then there car hit a person as there nesquick flew through the open window and hit me as it caused me 2 choke and my spinal hit my friend and threw on a rock stage which caused a banned 2 be named spinal tap

4-0 out of 5 stars Great game just too easy
Tiger Woods 2005 is a lot of fun. I had the 2003 version and this was a big upgrade. The game would be ever funner if it wasn't quite so easy.It is kind of stupid too play in a PGA Tour event and shoot 85 under par while the second place guy is at -6. ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars MLB 2K6
I did not buy this game when it first came out. I waited until I found on the internet for a very low price, and I'm glad I did. I've really tried to talk myself into this game by trying to think of the positives, but the truth is that this game is just really sad.
4-0 out of 5 stars Not as good as MVP, but I liked it
I was upset when i found out that EA SPORTS lost the rights to MLB games for the next few years. so i dragged myself to some game store to buy a used copy. anyway, i was pleasently surprised by this game because looking at the vidcaps i didnt think that i would like it. i loved the gameplay, even though the graphics were a step down from MVP. This game is very addicting and that's why i bought this game for the second time (i gave my first copy to my brother).

1-0 out of 5 stars Below the Mendoza line...
--- One out, runner on third.Deep fly ball to LF and the catch is made.Runner then tags and crosses plate while CPU left fielder throws to third and runner is called out.Inning over.??????????????

4-0 out of 5 stars Glitchy but a good game and concept overall
I definately understand the feelings about the game being glitchy - I have experienced this as well. The game seems to get stuck at certain points which is frustrating. However, many brand new games come with several glitches and are remedied as time goes on.San Andreas for example, is full of them.Experienced gamers should realize this and have patience. If you don't want to deal with issues, then wait for a second version to come out.
1-0 out of 5 stars So buggy it's unacceptable
I love football and football games. I own many versions of EA football games from Madden and NCAA. EA's games have always been worth playing/buying. They've always had their shortcomings, but mostly the pros outweigh the cons. This time, they really screwed up.
4-0 out of 5 stars My opinion only....
NFL Head Coach was a better buy than I thought.I went in thinking this is probably going to be a 'bust' game.I put it in and played it for 2 and a half hours (not realizing how late it was). The game is (I think) worth the buy.I read all the reviews and I agree with some of what they said, however, I love strategical games and this is great.I am currently just starting Mini-Camp.If you don't want to something, just sim thru until there is something you need to do.I honestly love the game.I was still able to get all my tasks done before mini camp.I was able to hire new coaches and sign free-agents with ease.It is not as difficult to navigate as some say it is.I like the fact that you have to talk to your staff, find out the scouting report (although you don't really need a daily report from the scouting coordinator), I still think this game is good.Yeah it was probably rushed out, and I am sure tweaks will be made for next season; I like the fact that in mini camp you can motivate or stratigize with your rookies and vets.I agree that the interaction between the coach and other characters is somewhat basic and elemetary, and could use some work. The overall idea and thought behind the game is great.I can't wait to start the season. The only thing that bugs the crap out of me are the 'quotes' between every loading sequence. That is something that the game can do without. There is no need for them. They are pointless and have no real purpose being in the game.If you are looking for something other than your typical football video game, I think this is it.If you love strategizing and if you're a student of the game, this gives the perspective I think you might enjoy. This game can be better, but right now I happy with what the game has to offer.I hope next season they don't dump the idea.It can only get better. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Bestest Baseball
This is the best baseball game available.I love the Owner mode where I can control stadium size, ticket cost, concessions, attractions, etc. It's cool to feel like you can actually do more than just play baseball. But you can do that too if you do not like the extras.
5-0 out of 5 stars The Best Baseball Game Ever
This is definately the best baseball game ever!!!Take my word for it (i have every baseball game dating back to Major League Baseball feat. Ken Griffy Jr. for Nintendo 64). This game basically everything an avid fan could ask for. From the hitters eye, mini games, and the owner mode, MVP Baseball 2005 won't ever get old.Although these new features are coming in, all the old modes that you'd expect from a baseball game are still intact. You have dynasty mode, create a player, home run derby (Home Run Showdown), and a roster manager.I could go on for days writing about this game, but I'll let you find the rest out for yourself. If you were to purchase this game, you'd never need to buy another baseball game.
5-0 out of 5 stars The best baseball game there is!
This game is miles ahead of MLB 2k5, and now that they are both $20 dollars this is clearly the best choice. The graphics, fielding, batting, and pitching are all better than 2k5's. The game is filled with little things that you'll keep working at, like unlocking tons of classic stadiums, players and jerseys (although the left out some pretty famous 'classic' players like Willie Mays, Stan Musial, Yasterzemski and Ted Williams while including Phil Rizzuto, but that's really nothing). And when you do a dynasty or owner mode you'll have goals you try to complete (in franchise mode they have to do with player performance and in owner money. Like lead the league in SO, and then make a certain profit). The game is also filled with tons of options to make the game harder or easier. Once you play for a little youll slowly move up (Rookie, Pro, All-Star, and then MVP). Once you have 'mastered' the game you should move up to MVP, the game can be pretty hard and you'll stop putting up incredible numbers (like a sub 1 ERA). And even if MVP is easy you can change the options to make it harder! (You can make hitting, pitching, running, and fielding and tons of other things easier, or harder for you.) It's one of those easy to learn difficult to master kinds of games. But lets go over each indivdual aspect of the game.

5-0 out of 5 stars great game
I am 9 years old. This game has really good graphics. When the animals get close, it gets blurry, it's cool. You get rifles, handguns, daggers, and knives. You should buy this game, its graphics are almost as good as Hunting Unlimited 1,2,and 3. Ibet you will like it. BUY IT.

5-0 out of 5 stars Exciting Gun blasin' experience
Cabelas has made a couple of neat hunting games through the years but none have been as fun as this one.You get too chose from a whole bunch of weapons and hunt fasinating animals. It really gets your heart pumping.

4-0 out of 5 stars Solid Hunting Game
PROS: Good graphics.Nice ambient sound effects.Wide variety of hunting regions and animals.Good selection of gear(hand guns, rifles, binoculars, etc)CONS:Not violent enough(when animals attack you, it's pretty dull). First person perspective can be awkward and dizzying(I would have liked a third person perspective option). If there was a third person perspective and the maulings were more graphic, I would give this game 5 stars. As is, I'll give it 4 and a recommendation. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars This game is AWESOME
Totaly awsome game! It rocks so hard. You just gotta buy this game. Activision really nailed the details and graphics. The best fishing game ever, if any game ever beats this, it gonna be the sequel! If you hav been wanting 2 buy a fishing game, then this is the game 2 buy. #1 game, i would play this game ALL night. I dont know about the other reviewers, saying this game is a drag, it ROCKS. Buy this game, u wont regret it!

2-0 out of 5 stars Pro Fishing?
First I understand that the title is Rapala but please. For choices of rod/reel selection there are no baitcasters... what's up with that.Secondly the weight of the fish versus the drag setting is a joke, I fish numerous tournaments and have never had a 5 to 6 lb Largemouth bass break my line with my drag set as tight as it can go, yet it happens in this game. The actuall setting of the hook well as the other reviews point out it is pretty much random as there is no skill here, there always seems to be way to much slack in the line. There is no changing the speed of which you reel-in just start or stop. Lastly the amount of lake available to fish is really pathetic. At least for the price, you only out 20 dollars.

2-0 out of 5 stars Not enough attention to detail
The game is fun when you first play, but there are too many flaws for long term enjoyment. My list of the bad:
