2-0 out of 5 stars It;s nice, but...
Downloading objects from fan sites can be hit or miss -- I have had many collections I've downloaded work incorrectly or not work at all in the next expansion pack, and items I really liked were suddenly unavailable. So, I was looking forward to a "Stuff" pack from Maxis.
1-0 out of 5 stars Where's the glamour?
This pack offered very little of anything. The decor (very little of it) is uninspired. I was hoping to get some good artwork at least.I know a lot of people don't like to download from fan sites but don't waste your money on this junk.Believe me fansites have much better and more creative stuff for your sims and most of it is free, and none of it costas much as this glamour life stuff pack did. This is the first and last stuff pack that I will ever buy.

1-0 out of 5 stars RIp Off!
If I could give it negative 3 stars I would. This is just EA being Greedy. They could have offered it for free on the website like they did with the stuff before or they could have included it with the next expansion pack. You're better off going to one the fan site that offers better stuff to download for free. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars No Concorde!
Having found FS2002 to be quite a novelty despite its rather poor landscapes I bought FS2004 for my son. I have found some of the graphics improved on, runways, airport installations, planes ... but others just as horrible as previously.
4-0 out of 5 stars Need a joystick
I am thoroughly enjoying Flight Simulator 2004 now that I have a joystick (LogitechExtreme 3D Pro). The simulator ran poorly on my laptop from the keyboard (no numbers pad, sluggish and uneven response). Performance was better but still disappointing using the full keyboard of my desktop PC. In spite of the claim to be keyboard friendly, the flying lessons are far better suited for use of the joystick.
3-0 out of 5 stars good graphics limited options
I was somewhat disappointed after having used Flight Sim 2000 and then upgrading to 2004.The graphics are better and the upgrades are good but the options for aircraft are too limited for what I expected.Mooney Bravo is the only light single retract. There are lots of speicality and unique aircraft but just too few "general aviation" types.

2-0 out of 5 stars Frustration abounds!
As others have said, this was a much-anticipated game. I played Caesar II and III and was extremely excited when I heard that IV was coming out. 3-0 out of 5 stars It's okay, I guess
I am a real fan of Caesar III.It's a game that I've played literally for years. So when I saw Caesar IV, I grabbed it off the rack. When I played the game, my impressions were mixed.
4-0 out of 5 stars Great Game- So Long As Your System is Up To Scratch
Caesar 4 is getting a reputation for being riddled with problems. This is unfortunate, as the game itself is a fine effort by developers Tilted Mill. They have achieved an admirable balance between maintaining elements of the earlier Caesar games, and providing something new. The improvements are certainly the graphics of the game, and also the distribution system. Where in C3 you had to make absolutely certain walkers did not have options of which way they could go, this no longer matters. Still, you do need to build in a certain way if you wish for success.

The new zoo tycoon 2 definitely has great graphics and it's also definitely more fun -- but I think it's more fun for the younger set!I loved the first zoo tycoon and that would still be my preference -- it required a lot more thought and strategy to complete the goals and keep everyone happy.Over the years I completed all of the scenarios.I bought zoo zycoon 2 because my [...]grandson was visiting. He enjoyed it, but I still haven't been able to get in to it myself. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars Much more than a game
Did you ever wonder what it would have been like to sail Titanic into New York harbor? That would be serious business and so is this software. The program features various vessels, along with Titanic all then way down to a 35 footer, participating in missions in four different locations with you in command. The ships respond realistically to engine and rudder commands. I found it to be the closest thing to actually being on the bridge out at sea. Young gamers may not have the patience required to handle these missions in real time, reading charts, minding weather conditions and being ever watchful for other ships in the shipping lanes. The supplied documentation leaves a lot to be desired and is particularly silent on editing missions or creating your own which would be fun if they only bothered to explain how. And the scenarios for the power racing boat are unrealistic to the point of being rediculous, with jumps, requiring speed to accomplish, placed too close to spectator boats. But there are plenty of other pre-programmed missions for the other ships to keep you busy for quite a while. Despite a few shortcomings I do recommend this especially for boating enthusiasts who are house-bound during the winter months on land. Try it, full speed ahead. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome game until...
Now, I'm not going to talk about how awesome or bad Madden 06 is, I'm going to talk about the only ugly part of the game, Kicking and Punting. We all know kicking can be the difference between winning and losing. Let me give you a scenario, at All-Pro difficulty, usingAdam Vinatieri, 20 yards away for the win, and he miss... bad. Kicking game is very hard and frustrating, even Extra Point can be a pain in the neck. I know some of you out there will say, you guys never had this problem, thats fine, but if you look at the reviews, almost everyone got something to say about the kicking game.
2-0 out of 5 stars Raymond James' Crowd was a sea of ... Blue?
I hadn't "upgraded" Madden since the 2003 version.I could tell I wasn't missing much.In fact, the game has taken a couple of steps backwards.Maybe it is different on the console boxes but on the PC there are a bunch of problems:
5-0 out of 5 stars Pretty darn fun
This game is fun. I am a big NFL fan, and I have to say, this game really is like an NFL game. I like the way you call the basic set and then decide on a play. The stadiums look like the real stadium, i.e. when you choose San Diego, it really looks like the stadium the Chargers play in. The look and feel of the game is great. They even have close-ups of the faces of players, and they look like the real player. I like the way you can click from one player to the next on defense (or offense). For instance, this morning, I was playing as the NY Giants, and I could rush using Strahan (when you click on him, his name appears), and then when the pass went downfield, click to be a corner or safety. Good stuff. I managed to return an interception 95 yards, off Kurt Warner. That was fun. I am still "mastering" this game (I still have not figured some things out, like how to punt well). I think the instructions could be better. It took me about an hour to figure out how to set the thing up so that I could use a mouse. Overall, this game is fun and authentic. I got the game for $ 9.99, which is an amazing price. I don't feel like I have to spend $ 39.99 either (to buy Madden 2007), just because the NFL currently - due to free agency - "shuffles" players in and out of teams, and teams are in some cases mostly different from one year to the next (the Vikings, etc., for instance). I will just play Madden'06. I am not falling for the "I have to update now, just because Daunte Culpepper signed with the Dolphins". I'll spend my money on something else. It would be kind of cool to play with Reggie Bush in a Saints jersey, but I will wait on that. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Installation problems
Game itself is fine. Had a great deal of difficulty installing it. I am somewhat computer savey but this program has some quirks when installing. I tried installing on 3 different computers. I shut down my internet security when installing but still kept getting a message that my video card drivers need updating, which I found odd. I could believe it with my older computer as it does not have a great card, but the other 2 a very good card and have up to date drivers. Talked to the tech support and got no help. I finally figured out on my own that to get it to work on 1 of my systems I have to shut down the internet security firewall before it will load the program.

2-0 out of 5 stars Very Monotonous
I bought this game a few weeks ago expecting a game I could play all summer. I got bored with it in three days. All you do on this game is tell your Sim to eat, sleep, go to work, take a shower, use the toilet, and watch TV. While your Sim is at work or sleeping you watch the time go by. The graphics are horrible. You can hardly see your Sim. The only fun things in this game are that you get to build your houses and make out with girls. You do the same things every day. Don't waste your money on this game. The Sims 2 is much, much better. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars The Worst Soccer Game in history
Menu: turn you insane, because the cursor goes down and up flashing and clicking without stop and that's sucks. so stupid thing that I ever saw.
5-0 out of 5 stars Football Glory
I've never played Fifa 2005, and i was very dissapointed with Fifa 2004. Before rewiewing Fifa 2006 in all fairness i wanted to log as many playing ours as possible, i've logged many hours over a month of playtime and i'm still amazed about the perfection of the game and the very bugs that i have found. This is the best football game ever, i must say i was impressed with "Winning Eleven Nine", but FIFA 2006 tops it. The gameplay is wonderful, in my humble opinion it is flawless, something of what the football gods would be really proud of. The Artificial Intelligence is spectacular, it will have you guessing all the time again and again, and if you think you can predict its next move, try setting a higher difficulty level. One common bug that people complaints about is the one that were the AI doesn't make any substitutions while playing unless the players get injured, but the AI makes subtitutions in change if you use the option of Quick Sim or Visual Sim a match which are great additional features. Don't try to play this game with the keyboard though, you will not appreciate it, buy yourself a controller, i did that for the first time just to play FIFA 2006 and i do not regret it. The game balances so many features and characteristics from individual players and teams, that you are going to feel that every match you play is different from the next, no two matches are the same, as in real football anything can happen on the pitch. EA Sports gave us back the Editor for editing players and adding in them to any team. The career mode is superb, you get to make many decisions which will determine your team trajectory on the league, you get your own budget, sponsors, etc. The manager grows in prestige and experience and has its own staff of coach experts in football concerning: Striking, Midfield, Defense, Negotiator, Stadium, Goalkeeper, fitness scout and upgrading the staff will translate in boosting your team's player attributes. Transfer system is excellent. Now you can sell, loan, borrow or buy players through browsing their particular contract conditions. Besides this, you can edit any team so you can keep up with the transfers from season to season, or just simply modify any team you wish. Other game modes are really rewarding and should not be overlooked or under appreciated. In tournament mode, you can customize any kind of tournament, wether that is from international teams (you can make a world cup if you want) or clubs from all the leagues which the game carries. The game includes a look back at the past of the evolution of the FiFA games back from 1994, which is really nostalgic to see. Football memorable goal moments from the present and recent past top players of football are also included. There are also video highlights from the Premier, German and French league. The sounds are excellent. The narrators don't get annoying anymore instead get you immersed in the game. The game's soundtracks are really catchy.
3-0 out of 5 stars Low Quality Disks
I purchased this game and it would not even install, reporting a missing file on disk 2. I guess they do not quality control their game CD's such that it is hit or miss as to whether or not the game will install for you. Since they did not respond to my tech support request emails, I just borrowed a known good copy and installed it using my CD key.

4-0 out of 5 stars Muy bueno
Este juego es muy bueno, le falta para ser parecido a la realidad pero en general es divertido y te muestra rápidamente como sería la administración de un negocio.

2-0 out of 5 stars This game sucks
I played this game and the graphics aren't very good. It froze a lot too.

4-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Restaurant Simulation
Restaurant Empire is well-done all around. For some the incredible amount of detail may be overkill - for others it might not be enough: that's the curse of any simulation game when trying to cater to us picky tycoon freaks.

5-0 out of 5 stars GREAT Game!
I know that a lot of the reviews on this game are around 2 stars or so, but I think that it deserves 5 stars. It seems very realistic and is very fun to play. My favorite thing to do is "Quick Combat," and I especially like the detailed ground targets. I really enjoy this game and would highly recommend it!

1-0 out of 5 stars Don't get this ... get one of the IL-2 games instead
Don't get this ... get one of the IL-2 games or all of them instead. Those are loads of fun and very realistic. This thing on the other hand is quirky and twitchy, and flat out butt ugly.
1-0 out of 5 stars This is a piece of manure from Microsoft
Short version: It. Does. Not. Run.

4-0 out of 5 stars Pretty good
This is a very good flight sim. CFS 1 was better in the graphics area. This has a way better story line though. This had wonderful graphics too but not as great as the first combat flight simulator.
2-0 out of 5 stars Pretty good: not great
When I got the game, I was all hyped up about it, because it was my first flight sim. It is a pretty good game. But after a while is got redundent and a bit boring. Here are the positives and the negatives.
5-0 out of 5 stars Fun But Slow
Iwas surprized with this game its not that intense, butI am shocked that it had a free flight mode. You even have a personal traner for traneing missions. Also you can play an immaginary mission or a historical mission. Instead of a joystick or yoke you can use a gamepad (and I sugest that you get one with rumble motors(it will shake like crazy). You can also bailout wich is nice when you are on fire. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars IL2 Forgotten Battles GOLD
This sim takes the stunning flight models, damage models, graphics and AI routines from the original IL2 Sturmovik to another level. This sim is a MUST for any combat simmer and especially any prop head. With a well established community of highly talented (read in user made utilities, missions, campaigns and beautifully rendered aircraft skins) almost rabid faithful fans and an online base that is second to none, this sim will continue the tradition set by Oleg Maddox and 1C Maddox Games in IL2 for years to come. The Forgotten Battles GOLD pack contains both IL2 Sturmovik Forgotten Battles and the Forgotten Battles Aces Expansion Pack add on in one package.
5-0 out of 5 stars kool game
This sim is cool, but one thing bother me we got 256mb or 128mb video card why can't they made a good air combat game with those good card it would look nice if they do, just look at ps2 air combat game the graphics look nice and almost real looking, check out ace combat 5 for ps2 look nice.Japanese peeps are good at making game look almost like a good movie.

4-0 out of 5 stars Aging....
This is a good game but the graphics are looking dated, even when setings on their highest. I really purchased this as an add-on to Pacific Fighters, which is also produced by Ubisoft. The level of realisim and flight models are supurb but the control setup and user interface would be very difficult for the novice, desktop flyer. Overall a good sim. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Not great but not totally awful...
The formerly acclaimed franchise mode is back with new features like minor league management and the implementation of the salary crap. But how do you turn the salary cap off? You can't... Also, improving your team in the franchise mode is much too difficult. The gameplay is similar to last years but a few issues have been fixed like your goalie is maybe a little better and you can now score on first shots occasionally. One thing that was not fixed is the A.I. for instance, your teammates are not as offensively good as they were last year and they are not real helpful defensively either. The commentary still needs to be improved and the new button/control scheme is really odd to me,someone who has played the NHL series of games for over 14 years.

1-0 out of 5 stars MIS-INFORMATION ABOUT THIS GAME IRRITATING
The Windows XP version says it comes on a CD...Wrong! It comes on a DVD...
4-0 out of 5 stars i love it!
I think this a big improvement over last year's edition with the realism of players & movement. The only thing I had difficulty with is that the stamina on starting players is ridiculous b/c they don't sub out! However, by editing the players and making everyone's stamina at a 99 the game works perfect for me. No one gets tired & the competition stays at an equal. The only problem I have with it is that it does seem point gaurd heavy as he constantly drives to the hoop a lot of the time. But besides that, I love to play it and am getting better as each day goes on. Give the game a chance before you judge it b/c it takes time to get used to a new edition from one year to the next. All & all, it is a great edition by EA sports for basketball enthusiasts like myself.

1-0 out of 5 stars DVD only?
Too bad this only works if you have a DVD drive on your PC.I've played the NBA Live games every year for the past few years, but this year I can't even try it out, as my PC only has CD-ROM drives.Sure, that might not be an issue for a lot of the people who game regularly, but I have no use for DVDs on my PC -- sorry EA, would love to have given you my money, but you won't let me. ...
