Not as good as 2004 or 2005
A real letdown having used 2004 and 2005
Full of bugs that really drags down the game
It could be fun, but it's just fullof bugs, people disappear, it lags, sounds are delayed, it runs very slowly, screen loadups are slow, inconsistent chip shots.Today I tweaked options for peak performance, and the game won't even run, seems to work best on default mode.No patch is issuedyet.So while it could be loads of fun its pretty much frustration and pain.

Awesome Game!!

Amazing Basketball Game
This was the best sports game ever when it was released. The dunks in this game are even better than the previous versions. The dynasty mode is fantastic. The freestyle innovations are outstanding. The dribble styles are neat. The competion modes can vary as much as you want them to. This can be as easy or as hard as you want it to be. You get to choose between five difficulties of playing. You can change the abilities of each player in around twenty areas. There are settings for you to change how hard or easy it is for you and the opponent, seperately, to shoot the ball as well as do just about everything else. You can customize current players or make your own made up player that is good or not so good. Created players can be anywhere from five foot tall and one hundred twenty pounds to seven foot six inches tall and three hundred fifty pounds. You can do almost anything involving NBA basketball in this game.

just like my title says, its fun and very creative and does not repeat the same over and over again like most other games out there.

Big Gamer Hunter 2006
If you have Big Game Hunter 2005 season do not get Big Game Hunter 2006 because it exactly the same.The first one was fun, but I just spent my money getting a duplicate of the 2005.
Nothin' but Trouble...
This game may have potential, but we will probably never find out, as every time we have tried to play it, it crashes in the first 10 minutes. Activision e-mailed us a fix, but like the "Crash Happy" reviewer above, it did not help at all. We are using a Windows XP PC system. Too bad it was a birthday present for a 10 year old. Needless to say, we are very disappointed. Deer Hunter is a much better game...it actually works.

Good choice, go ahead, buy it.
This is hands down the best hunting game I've ever played. I'm comparing it to Deer Hunter 2, Deer Hunter 2005 and Hunting Unlimited 2. I've also played the first Big Game Hunter, but that's so ridiculously archaic that it doesn't even count as a comparison.

Can't even play the game
This is the last game I'll ever buy from EA Sports.Although my computer is not the most powerful in the world, it's not garbage, either.I can play Madden '06 with no problems.Why can't I play NHL '06?I would give this game a minus 10 if I could.Oh, and try to get your money back from EA.The game might be great for all I know but I can't get it to work at all because they say I have an intergrated graphics card on board.So what if I do?They could have still made the game work for people with on board graphics.Their incompetence is noted and I will in no way be robbed by EA again.I do not support them anymore.If you can even play this game, good for you.You just got lucky.

Great hockey game but too easy
NHL 06 is a great hockey game.It has new features like R.P.M(realistic puck momentum),skill stick and many more.But one problem i had was how easy the game was like when my guy that had the puck was on one side,the opposint's goalie was on the same side.I passed my other guy on the other side and he scored. I have a advice for u EA,make NHL 07 have better ai.

I have played EASports NHL 2000 and 2001 a lot.Loved 2001 - great gameplay and graphics.Based on the reviews here I bought NHL 2004 and NHL 2006.NHL 2004 is unplayable, terrible graphics and gameplay.DO NOT BOTHER BUYING OR INSTALLING NHL 2004.I played one game and uninstalled it.

Better Than The First
This game is better than the first because it has more wrestlers like Rikishi, Kurt Angle, Stephanie, and other players. I used to have this game but i sold it. This game is fun to play. I got this game for christmas in 2001. I sold my playstatiion 1 because i wanted playstation 2 so thats how i sold this game. So for playstation 2 i have WWF Just Bring It and Shut Your Mouth. I don`t watch wrestling as much as i used to.

Just as good and in some ways better then the original
This game has the same graphics as the original but has a bigger match list. Hell In The Cell is on the card, TLC, and the Casket match which is lackluster. Season mode is done a little better, but would be greatly enhanced later on in the series. The game looks good, the controls remain the same, which is awesome. This is actually the last platinum game for the PS1 before the PS2, which would actually release one month after this. But congrats to WWE, the games keep getting better.

Smackdown:2 is a got to have game. If you have Playstation and you are looking for a good wrestling game, then, you've definetly got to get WWF: Smackdown 2 Know Your Role. Doesn't work
Game came on a single DVD, installed without a hitch, and would not play at all on either of my less than 1 year old computers.

Another compromise
Once again, I am not thrilled with the shooting in this game. The player is offered 11 "exotic locations" and 32 game animals they can hunt.
Good Deer Hunting simulation
This game is primarily a deer hunting simulation.The graphics are very good and it offers both first person and third person views.There are some vehicles which can be driven including a truck, ATV, two boats, and a snowmobile.There are some opportunities to hunt small game animals, big game animals, and fish.Every once in a while an animal will get "stuck" on a bush for instance, but this rarely happens.The game would be better if it would allow you to hunt the other animals in a similar fashion as you hunt deer.The sound effects are nicely done with different sounds for different surfaces that are walked upon.There are bridges, rivers, and lakes in the game.

Dangerous Hunts 2
This game looks even better than its first version. I don't think there's any other company in this world to stand competition with Activision. In my comments on the first version I had requested Animators from Activision to improve on the Wolf's Pixel Effects, I feel they did their job neatly in Version 2. Although the Wolves jump directly onto you & u don't have the time to concentrate on anything else rather than saving yourself.
an OK action game, but not a simulation
Players who expect this game to be a simulation may very well be disappointed.However it is not a bad action game.There are five areas including Alaska, Africa, India, Australia, and Russia.The animal graphics don't seem to be quite as good as the other recent Cabela's games.There is some hunting in helicopters and in back of vehicles.Some unusual weapons are utilized such as blow guns/darts, and tranquilizer guns.Three levels of difficulty are offered.Some of the animals included are rhinoceros, hippopotamus, lion, tiger, hyena, elephant, yeti, wild boar, bulls, and crocodiles.There are also some bees and snakes as well as quicksand.Stumps can be shot along the way to gain access to three hidden areas.
Dangerous hunts, yah right. More like sucky hunts!
This game sucks! Don't even think about wasting your money on this game! I beat it in less than 2 hours! First of all it has completely no story, no action, and no life. The graphics mostly suck but the cutscenes are absolutely stunning! That's the only good thing about it. There are cheat codes for the game but they do not work. In the instrucions it claims that when you beat the game that you will get cheats like invincible and unlimited ammo, but what happens when I beat the game twice in a row, nothing! This game is definately not worth the $20.00! There are hardly any bonus levels and the gameplay graphics are horrible! This is one of the worst games I have ever played! Are there even any good hunting games? I have at least 7 hunting games and they all suck! This game isn't really a hunting game. It is mostly missions, and fighting a yeti. The animals aren't all that vicious looking. I mean you'd think that the yeti would look absolutely ferocious! When a vicious bengal tiger beats the heck out of you your stupid guide says, "don't kill it you idiot!" After he says that you will want to shoot him, but you can't. You can only smack him with your rifle and let him curse you over and over again. This isn't even for the fans of the first game! Your guides are always completely stupid and are usually running away, or falling off something, or walking into something, (like trees, rocks, wall, etc.) Overall this is one of the worst games in history! A fun game but...
Even after a couple of years this version of Madden can still be fun to play. It looks and plays better than the previous version. You get plenty of options such as the ability to play great games from the past, such as the playoff game between The Dolphins and Chargers from the early 80's and a madden challange, such as completing certain tasks during the game to earn points, unlocking secret teams and stadiums, and the franchise mode can be played up to 30 seasons and is the best feature. Unfortunately, I've noticed as I've progressed through the franchise mode, some of the games I play tend to freeze up, which can be very annoying, specially if your having a good game. Sometimes I've had to skip to the next game after I've restarted the game a few times, and it would freeze up during gameplay again, booooo! I wonder.. if EA actually tests their product out to make sure it runs ok before releasing it. When I used to play Madden '96 and '97 on The Super Nes I'd create players and save a season only too find out after a short period of time the memory was back at zero again and I never deleted anything. In Madden 2001 for Playstation I tried to load my season some time ago but got a message how the file couldn't be loaded. It's too bad such a problem like this has to occur in an overly good game or any game.

Hey, if you like football, than go and buy this game. The graphics are superb.All the madden challgne make the game nore better than the rest.Go on many season.O yea, theres one thing that [is not good] that makes it a four star, i can cream the other team in offense but not in d-fense.I can get over 1,000 yards passing every game, with the Dallas Cowboys and have 7 players to have over 100 yds per game in yds in catching.and all running backs over 200 yds each.But in defense the other team gets over 600 yds, but i beat them like 200 to 16, but itz fun. So if you like football, than get this game, ...!

Terrible
I have always been a huge fan of the Tecmo bowl/Superbowl series, and I bought this hoping it would be the best one as it came out in '96 on the playstation, yet it's one of the worst games I've ever seen.I'm sure it's playable once you get "used to it", but the graphics and sounds are the worst of any game in the series.I find it hard to believe Tecmo released this

Not bad for PS1
For what it is, a PS1 game it's about as good as it gets on the ageing system. Player models are blocky but the game play is fluid and smooth.
