5-0 out of 5 stars The B-E-S-T!
I have played this game over and over and I am still not tired of it! I would give this game more the five stars if I could! 1-0 out of 5 stars Only one of the most crappiest games ever!
I hate this game. Basically you're a farmer who farms things. I will try to be fair and include pros and cons.
5-0 out of 5 stars Best HM game I've played so far!
This was my first harvest moon game and by far, the best I've played so far.I was around 6 years old and I loved the game!I didn't have a lot of games to play because they were all fighting or pokemon games, and as a girl, I didn't like those kinds of games.I even play this game today, at the age of 12 almost 13!I would recommend this game to anyone! ... 5-0 out of 5 stars The future -2006
i love my next gen consoles and the great graphics and gameplay they offer but the classics are always enjoyable.i like to kick it old school. The game takes you through a simple progresion and training so even though the game has a lot to it it is manageable. In fact it might even show you RTS' aren't just for geeks, but are alot easier than u think.any way i wanted to add a reveiw that wasn't from 1999 so in conclusion this game rocks!!!!!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great game if you don't have the PC version of it!
Since I just bought me a N64 four months ago, which costed me 16 bucks, I bought the Starcraft 64 game for it.Man it was ok, but it wasn't exact. The intense speeches given by the rebel Protoss to the council members are gone! And the awesome graphics to the mouth movements and vowel movements are gone also. Those are the only cons for the game. The pros are thatyou don't have to go and buy a fekking expansion for it, and the graphics are just as good as the PC version. It's not as cheap as the PC version, but hey, if you have the N64, get it, it's highly collectable. But if you want it to be exact, get the PC version.

5-0 out of 5 stars Really nice console port, worth the money
I have this game for PC and it rocks. My friend told me about the n64 version and i thought that it was just going to be some crack pot dumb port with stinky graphics. But when my friend showed me it, it was against everything i had expected. You can choose from 3 different races, the mutated bug like zerg, the human terrain, and the alien protoss.they each have their own pros and cons. The graphics are excellent for nentendo, and gameplay is more than enjoyable. You need a expansion pack for multiplayer and better graphics, but if you compare this with other n64 games, you will Know that nentendo 64 used up all its graphics and sound to produce a great console port from theawsome starcraft and brood wars for PC. dont listen to people who just watch their friends play it, listen to the pros who auctuallyhave experience and has mastered the game. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent strategy game.A top pick
Ogre Battle is definetly one of my favorite strategy games of all time.Very challenging, tons of secrets to unlock (characters, weapons, etc.), great game concept, and ridiculous amounts of replay value - go ahead and take the path of evil if you want, the game changes to suit your style. That being said, let's take a look at what you're getting yourself into here.
5-0 out of 5 stars Ogre Battle 64 Rulez
I have played this game many, many times.Too many to count. If it is not apperant by the title of this review I think this is an excelent game.Because it is so long and has so many complexcities it has some great replay value.Gaining powerful units such as the princess and the dragoon is chalanging and fun, as well as mastering the chaos frame and creating perfect teams. The storyline is complex and includes a corrupt holy empire and demons from the other world, as well as rebels, slaves, love and much more.Awesome game, I highly recomend it.

1-0 out of 5 stars boooooooooooooorrrrrrrrriiiiingggggggggg
this game kinda go talk to this old dude who gives you these long drawn out battle plans.then you watch these long drawn out cut scenes.then you go into these map/worlds.when you get near an enemy, you fight.well, sort of.the computer does everything.theres a lot of complicated planning involved.theres no clear cut way to figure out anything.its a real pain in the hiney.whats more is i dont belive i even saw any ogres.of course im only on like level 2 since the game is totaly screwed.i bought it used and the guy before me only got that far wonder i got this so cheap.this game will use up all of your extra brain space.if you thought out how to beat wouldnt have the brain sense left to eat cheerios.someone would have to run you an iv.youd almost have to be like freakin fixated on its ended.its totaly freakin ridiculous.and then ,as youre being slain by little people with sticks, even though youre sporting a dragon, you are helpless to defend sucks. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Fun on your N64: Mission Accomplished
I hear the PC version is deeper, but whatever. To sit in my living room, in comfort, and play C&C in 3D is quite a pleasure! The 3D is such a nice touch.Ex.Where is the enemy A(nti)A(ircraft) site?I don't see it.But, if you move around, there it is!It was behind a tree.See?It's 3D, that's part of the game.Anyway, if you like strategy games, what do you have on N64?This, and Starcraft, and what? So, if you're tired of Mario and Peach and want a game that makes you think, and yet has lots of action in it, here it is!Highly recommmend this game.

4-0 out of 5 stars Not Bad but HARD![.]
Out of all the RTS Games available I'd have to say this one should only be one of them that you buy if you enjoy long stratigic battles.By far this would have to be one of the most challenging that i've played not because it is C&C but because it is on N64.Pretty much the game is as the computer version but I would have to say 5 times as harder. There is no easy or moderate only a preset level that is sometimes impossilbe.Since westwood does not believe in cheats the game also does not have any cheats. All in all the graphics were fair but the game play made up for that.It does hook just that if you wanted to replay a previously played game you could just that if you wanted to return to the campain you were at, you would end up at the game you had just beaten in that campain.Sounds confusing so I would recommened you rent the game before buying it.

4-0 out of 5 stars Everybody Wants to Rule the World
I got this game and I thought it was going to be just an okay game. Did I ever find out how wrong I was! The game is absolutely addictive! You can play as the Global Defense Initiative (GDI)the good guys or the bad guys, who are simply called the NOD. There are 15 GDI missions and 13 NOD missions. There are also two exclusive N64 only missions for each side. The grapihics are okay, but not anything real fancy. If you want to run the game in High Resolution mode make sure you have an expansion pack; this also makes the graphics better. Just remember to go to the opions menu and select High Resolution everytime you play because if you don't the game will run on Medium Resolution. When you use and airstrick for the GDI or use a lot of flamthrowers, flamtankes, or a Nuclear Missile for the NOD, the game play will so slow down to a crawl until the fire stopsm but after the napalm is it out the game goes back to its normal speed. When a soldier dies he spills over and a little pile of blood comes out and then it disappears along with the body. If you run over enemy troops with tank or something, you get a squishy sound. When a soldier dies you may hear a scream. These are the only violent grapcis in the game. The music is great at times, but some of the tracks are boring. This is the best strategy game for the N64! A little hint to help is that the NOD are great at whiping out infantry while the GDI are better equipped to handle tanks and defensive positions. When you are capable to produce tanks and vehicles build vehicles instead of infratry because a NOD flame tank or a NOD flamethrower can wipe out a lot of infantry with no problem at all. If you play as the NOD then build turrets and light tanks to take out the GDI forces. You can use a group of light tanks to run over infantry. Also another hint is that if you play as NOD build some recon motorcycles in the later missions when GDI uses ORCAs, they are kind of like helicopters, to harrass you and if the recon units are in guard mode they will attack the flying pests. This is definitely a must have since new N64 games are no longer coming out. Some of the later missions can take up to three to four hours to complete. Have fun! ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars wetrix
This game was on sale when i bought and i thought ,"how bad could it be ?", well i found out . It was a boring premise behind the entire game concept, and the only way you really have any chance as a beginner is to play in the practice mode. I recommendthis game to anyone who wants to be bored and disappointed anyone else i say dont waste your time.

5-0 out of 5 stars One Of The Best Puzzle Games Ever
I have never really been a fan of Tetris so i was a bit dubious when this game came out as every one that i knew was comparing it to Tetris.Well i have to say thatit is nothing like Tetris and it is a fantastic game. The major thing about it that i liked is the games originality. The game play is everlasting, the graphics are superb.I like how you have to build your land to fill it up with water which you then have to drain in order to then fill back up again. The multiplayer mode on wetrix is good, i love playing against my friends and when they have a lot of water in their base i unleash a set of bombs which instantly fills up their water tank.

1-0 out of 5 stars Aggrivating & limited
I bought this game based on its good reviews in the game magazines. But I was deeply disappointed. The colors are washed out, making it difficult to actually _see_ the water on the board. The 3-d gameplay is vague. It is difficult to figure out where the the piece is as it is falling. The walls are lumpy, indistinct hills, further confusing things.Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars awesome!!!
This game rules joo. Seriously. It's a turn based strategy game wherein you play as 4 worms per team and blow the hell outta each other using bazookas, grenades, and off-the-wall weapons like a banana bomb that spawns 5 other banana bombs when it hits, and a herd of explosive mad cows. It's the only game me and my brother play constantly on the 64, and the ultimate party game. If you think mario party is all-out fun, try this game and you'll retire it for good. It's got deathmatch and team deathmatch, but with the fun involved, that's more than enough!! As far as single player goes, there's training, playing vs bots and missions. Also, you can name your worms, which is frickin hilarious.
5-0 out of 5 stars Only Smash bros and Ocarina is even close to matching this game's power.
my friends had the PC version of this game and I was overjoyed to see this game on the shelf for the N64 a few years ago. I bought it immediatly and I must say if you have any system that this game is for and you see the version ofthis game for it you MUST I repeat MUST purchase this game. It maybe a strategy/puzzler game butit kicks butt! you'll be surprised how good it is! rent it if you don't believe me! It's basically a war game with worms that have various weapons (Some you have to unlock in mission mode) and both players have a team of worms and each team has thier own secret/special weapon they are: Homing Pigeon, Mad Cow, Banana Bomb, and my favorite, the HOLY HAND GRENADE! you throw this grenade at the opponet then you here a voice scream "HAlLja-U-YU-JA!!!!" then BOOOM! a huge explosion erupts. okay back to the gameplay. each worm on each players team has a set amount of life usually 100 and each weapon can do a diffrent possible amount of damage or effect such as poison. when worms life reaches 0 or if the worm gets knocked into the ocean it dies. when all a player's worms die they lose. the best thing about this game is you can play it multiplayer with just one controller, cool huh? I swear if you don't believe team 17 (the creators of the worms games) have a free demo on thier website that can download. the demos fun itself.

5-0 out of 5 stars worms armageddon is a real great game
Ok graphics, amazing gameplay, no better N64 game. Great game for any age. I rented it for my ninth B-day, all of the guys loved it, it out-voted sarges heros, super smash, Ken Griffy Junior Sluggfest, andthe kids who played perfect dark on another day (meaning we were'nt allowed to play at the party) voted it 80percent better!AND SAME WITH GOLDENEYE AND HYDRO THUNDER(the 2nd best N64 game)!!!... ...
