5-0 out of 5 stars Indigo Prophecy (Xbox)
I've beat this game twice already, and still love the game. You can approach the game from quite a few different levels and do different things.
1-0 out of 5 stars Virtual Toothache
Fahrenhiet is a game with a good narrative structure and a reasonable script that's utterly destroyed by its uniquely irritating system of keyboard based controls. If you're old enough to remember the awful 'simon says' game of the 1970's then you'll understand what I mean.
1-0 out of 5 stars NES version worst of all.
I played the Xbox version at a friend's house but I don't have an Xbox so I had to get the NES version.

4-0 out of 5 stars Why do people say the first game was better? This one is way better!
Personally, I feel the first game was hands down one of the worst video games ever made.Yes, it had a good story that fit in with the series, and decent graphics, but the gameplay of it was horrible. The original had many gripes that eventually made me scream so much that I was hoarse for a week, and left me with a broken XBOX controller.Elixers barely existed in any levels, and defeated enemies rarely dropped health for you to slightly heal.Enemies always blocked your attacks.Stakes could get easily knocked out of your hand, which left your enemies ready to throw cheap combos at you as you tried to pick it back up, and if you knocked them down to pick the stake up, they'd always immediately get back up as you did.It also had a poor hit detection system--- one time I staked a face down vamp about six times, AND HE STILL DIDN'T DIE.I returned the game about a day later after buying it.
3-0 out of 5 stars Entertaining for Buffy fans, but frustrating at times to play
After many months of on-and-off playing, I've finally just finished "Buffy: Chaos Bleeds".It's a melee-oriented game of about 15 levels set in the "Buffy The Vampire Slayer" universe, and throughout the game you are placed in the role of different characters from the show -- primarily Buffy herself, but also Spike, Willow, Xander, Faith, and Sid.Almost all of the fighting is of the hand-to-hand variety, except for Willow's spellcasting (which is fun) and a few ranged attacks: crossbows(which are rare but good) and "holy water" and "hell fire" potions which you can throw at advancing enemies. 2-0 out of 5 stars Insanly Difficult
Before you purchase this game, BEWARE OF THE CAMERA ANGLES. Unlike the first masterpiece, the camera angles in Chaos Bleeds are poor and quite difficult to use. Often you are in a tight space and a vampire jumps you, it takes you a long time to turn around and TRY and fight the vampire. This game's graphics are nowhere near as good as the first games. Fighting in this game is hard enough. Some of the vampires are so fast they don't give you a chance to swing and by then you probably would have died, or they block there attacks, and when you stop swinging, they'll kill you. Unlike in the first game, (where you can pause and find a weapon or exilir), you need to scroll through your inventory at the bottom left corner, RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF A FIGHT!!! Do yourself a favour and DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!! Buy the first one and charish it, if you buy this one you will most likely destroy it. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Improvements to be made...
- The ability to play your own xbox hard drive music over the games
4-0 out of 5 stars Excellent game for aspiring players
First, it's important to outline a context for my positive review of this game.I run a chess club in an elementary school and have been doing so for nearly five years.I have taught students how to play and given them basic strategy. However, I am only an average player myself.
5-0 out of 5 stars Incredible depth for developing players
The problem I see with people debating the merits of this game generally revolve around motivation. If your sole motive is to use this game just to play chess, you will only get a fraction of the value out of it and might even be disappointed with it.The multiplayer function, offline, requires two people to pass the controller back and forth. While this is not a problem with me, some tend to consider it a hindrance. There are not many people that play online, so the "live" feature lacks attractiveness. This leaves you basically with just a chess game that you are able to play on the xbox, but not much else.If you play the game in this fashion, you are really only getting a superficial taste of what this game really has to offer.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great game.
This game is great fun but why has one of the moronic reviewers decided to tell everyone the plot of the game.
5-0 out of 5 stars True To Your Dreams
Castlevania Curse of Darkness is a true gem, among xbox games. I think, it was more designed to be a bridge for a game that's coming out in the future, that be two player (Probably xbox360 or Play station 3). So they have get you (the gamers) used to someone other Trevor Belmont. One Dracula Is NOT DEAD. He get's reborn, he needs one of the devil forger masters to get reborn. So its either Hector or Isaac who has to die to bring forth Dracula. So since your Hector and that leaves only Isaac who becomes Dracula. (Dracula is mad at Hector for running off during the big battle, thus blaming him for his down fall to Trevor Belmont.) But here only point in the whole game that gets me Hector is way up in the army of evil and he has a change of heart just because Dracula wants to kill every human who wants them destroyed. That part brothers me but who cares its fun game anyway hacking and slashing all the creatures of the dark. So its like a complexed stories line. But along the way you don't know what's what's. It come to you in the movies and not all what you see is what is. Like in the beginning you meet Zead and Saint Germain. Now Zead wants to help you on your quest and Saint Germain wants to try and stop you. They both hate each other, Zead seems so nice and Germain like a total pain. Why not any help that helps you average the death of your wife to the town people who bur her as a witch sounds good. You have to fight Saint Germain latter, and to tell you the truth he is hard, he pulls out a gun try's to shoot you, when he near death. Latter you find out Zead is Death "the Grimm Reaper"., after you fightIsaac and Zead takes Isaac and turns him into Lord Dracula, for the final fight. When you beat Dracula you seen the ending. Now everyone says this game is to short. When actual its two games you can play as Trevor Belmont and its totally different then playing as Hector, as game play is concern more classical Castlevania from the NES and SNES days. So if you don't like the devils and want a more classical game try beating it once and play as Trevor. But you also find out in the ending from Saint Germain there will be another finial battle (hint another game of Castlevania in the works). So honestly the game play is cool, the battles are fun and if you play long enough you can truly enjoy this game and its plot twists. It took me 30 hours to beat it, with hector and I'm finish play it with Trevor Belmont, but can say its good. I cant campare this to the play station games my last Castlevania was Castlevania X for SNES. It reminds me a lot of that game the stages do, but these are more in detail and more fun 3d. One more then there is a love stories at the end, yes I know not what you where expecting, between Hector and Julia Laforeze. Doesn't it melt your heart. Yes Isaac sister and the hero. How ironic. There hidden stages more bosses after you beat it and its truly a gem among xbox games. Some will be mad cause I wrote this but the cheesy plot line about Dracula being death and fighting for so long to beat this game figure ill just go ahead and tell it. Its great game.

4-0 out of 5 stars One of the best Xbox games
As someone who enjoyed previous Castleavania games going back to the early Nintendo systems, I did find this new incarnation to be somewhat different than the 2D games of old.But I still liked it a lot.Basically this game has been my main preoccupation for the last 2 weeks or so.I'd rank it as one of the top 5 Xbox games I've ever played (out of 50 or so) in terms of sheer fun level.Primarily I liked the fact that as you gain new items & skills, you can go back to previously explored areas and new areas will open up.This "expanding universe" aspect makes it similar to the Super Metroid games and a little like some of the Zelda titles for Gamecube.I also found the "Combine" system (of seeking out materials to create new weapons and armor) to be very engrossing, and I liked the various ways to obtain those materials - steal from monsters, seek out hidden rooms, etc.

5-0 out of 5 stars Fun for a Brilliant Six-Year-Old
I bought this game for my great-nephew for his sixth birthday. When his father called me to thank me for the gift, I could hear my great-nephew laughing in the background and talking back to the animals on the screen. He even told his Grandmother that she would like the game, but that she would have to start at Level One since that was the easiest level. He has advanced up to the final level now and loves this game!!

4-0 out of 5 stars XB Madagascar
This game is fun to play. I would give it 5 stars if the characters were given better fighting techniques.

5-0 out of 5 stars Solid James Bond Game
While I like the first person James Bond games better, this game still earns 5 stars in my book. The gameplay is fun, and the replay value is great. If you're looking for a solid, fun, James Bond game, well here it is.

5-0 out of 5 stars A solid Bond game
As far as not just being another action game, this game satisfy the expectations. While playing, you feel like being in a James Bond mission. Locations, situations, gadgets, cutscenes, all contribute well to the results. Too bad they couldn't achieve the same in the following "From Russia with Love", despite Connery's involvement. If you are a Bond's fan, this game is worth it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Bond Game
Everything Or Nothing is by far the best james bond game available. The controls are very good, graphics are amazing and the storyline is up to par with a real 007 movie. The voice acting is a nice bonus as well. This game involves everything from stealthy fighting, flying helicopters, driving cool cars, motorcycles, jumping off cliffs. The array of bond gear is also very cool. The repel is a great feature that gives the game a very non-linear approach. The Q spider is also a very handy and useful addition to the 007 franchise as well. Everything or Nothing can be very difficult at times especially on the default agent setting, I will admit I played through most of this game on operative. With more experience however I could probably make through on agent just fine after completeing the game. This game is far better than the new From Russia With Love. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Hit, or Miss?
If you haven't yet played a Ghost Recon game, Ghost Recon 2 will be some good fun. Up-to date graphics, a fresh story and hours of challenging modern combat is what you should be expecting from this title. I was expected a bit more based on my great experiences with the first Ghosts, which entailed a more tactical approach. And this is where the disappointment begins. The game play: I quickly learned that I no longer have control over customizing my team aside from weapon selection. The whole team is assigned automatically. Yuck! Also, the team is smaller and must face more enemies, armored vehicles and helicopters. These things seem to steer this title away from its roots which is good and bad.
5-0 out of 5 stars Stoping N. Korea.
Imagine this:North Korea is going in to seize Chinese territory after the crazy General blames the Chinese for a great famine that is starting and The Ghost must go in and stop them before major damage happens. Well you don't have to imaging it when you can pick up your copy of ghost Recon 2 for the Xbox.
1-0 out of 5 stars Horrible
Let's put forward the facts now. I may not know the "true" greatness of Tom Clancy because his only game I like is Chaos Theory. The graphics for Ghost Recon 2 are outstanding. The sound and music also rock. But here comes the bad part. For one thing, I despise this one-shot-kill thng. It makes the game impossible and totally unfun. You have very few weapon selections, and can't pick up the enemies'. Multiplayer is no fun at all. If you give orders to your squad via your Xbox Live headset, they'll usually do the wrong thing. Don't bother with this awful part of the series. Go pick up Summit Strike instead. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Amixed bag, complete with variations on Chess, Puzzle Fighting, RPGs and the traditional fighting modes
I'm one of those Mortal Kombat enthusiasts who sees the past through a pair of the ever-popular rose tinted glasses. Even though I'd never fought a single round of 3-D rendered MK prior to purchasing Deception, I unconsciously deemed every game since that switch to be of lesser quality than their vid-captured predecessors. I'd spent far too many quarters on the first three games in the series to see its trademark live-action cheesiness cast aside in favor of the polygonal rendering and three-dimensional environments that had become all the rage in the fighting genre. In a way, I want to stand by my pre existing pompous, know-it-all attitude. A lot of the charm and personality of the series was based around its B-Movie aura and the macabre sense of humor apparent therein. But the series will likely never be returning to that form, and it's probably for the best to wipe the slate clean and give these new-look MKs a chance before I blindly crap all over them. 2-0 out of 5 stars What has Midway done to this franchise?
I picked up this game a while back for my Xbox, after not picking up a MK title since the disappointments that were Mortal Kombat 3 and Mortal Kombat 4.This game also failed horribly to impress me.
4-0 out of 5 stars MK Strikes Back!
I'm a big mortal Kombat Fan and when I first got deadly alliance I loved it. It was my favorite mortal Kombat game and still is. When I got news about MK Deception I had to play it or at least see the cover of it. Anyways I now have Mortal Kombat,Mortal Kombat 2,Mortal Kombat 3,Mortal kombat 4,Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance,Mortal Kombat Deception, and I use to have MK Shaolin Monks But I hated it so I got money for it by selling it. MK DA is still my favorite but Deception is a very good game too. You will love the new Konquest mode which I already beat and you sub-zero fans will love to see the bad version of subzero again. The way I can tell is because there is no scar on his face. I'm glad they brought back old characters like one of my favorites Ermac, and the sharp witted Baraka. They have also layed out some new characters like Kobra and Dariou. This game is fun and has crisp sound and graphics. Check out my reviews on any MK games. You will know because my logo will be at the bottom of the review.

5-0 out of 5 stars Overall, a fine collection
I originally rented this compilation to keep my girlfriend entertained one night - I saw that it had Joust, one of her favorite childhood video games. What I hadn't realized was just how many of my own favorite childhood games Midway had made: Sinistar, Satan's Hollow, RoadBlasters, 720, and best of all, that gloriously destructive Rampage. We spent five full hours the first night of the rental playing Joust and Rampage together and laughed the entire time.
3-0 out of 5 stars The Xbox controller ruins it
If you like playing classic games on your Xbox, then you definitely need the Xgaming X-Arcade joystick (ASIN B00008ELB0 or B00006I5ZX), preferably the 2-player version.I tried playing Joust, and the standard Xbox "S" controller was really holding me back. These 80's games depend on "button smashing", and that's something the Xbox controller doesn't handle well. ... 3-0 out of 5 stars Not to bad.......
I just bought this game the other day(i know its really outdated)
5-0 out of 5 stars Aging but still very solid.
Nightfire was released in 2002 and still 4 years later it stands strong. It is not as good a game as Everything or Nothing but from a first person shooter's stand point the game is very solid. The vehicle levels are very good as well. Your V12 Vanquish and other vehicles like snowmobiles will provide for some of the best chases ever in a Bond game. The game is a bit too short overall but is catchy enough for the Bond name. The story is interesting and the multiplayer is pretty fun. I can say with a clear consciense that if your a fan of Bond or just an action fan, nearly four years after it's release, Nightfire is still a solid choice when looking for a new game.

5-0 out of 5 stars Old skool gaming at it's finest
I like old arcade games, though i'm too young to fully appreciate them, and i feel this puts the best (aside from a few unneeded ones) of the arcade expierence without having to go back to the crowded area and wait hours on end to play one game. That's one thing i'm glad i didn't have go through. Okay, anyway, this game has 22 arcade(and most of you should appreciate them) games, some of which are very similar to one another. This is why some might not be needed, in the case of exed exes:this game was well, how dyou put? oh that's right! Lacking anything at all to put it ahead at the time. AKA:waste of time. and when i tried to lay this game the music(oh how i hate the music-the same, other, and over, and over-excluding boss levels but in the main game.)
3-0 out of 5 stars Classics from the 80's and early 90's
This compilation from Capcom contains no less than 22 games some great some good and some just forgettable.I like the fact that they include a file for each game that contains artwork tips and music and cast profiles (some of this is only accessable after meeting certain tasks)Ok on to the games
5-0 out of 5 stars More Old School Classics that We Children of the 80's Just LOVE!
Here is another great compilation of more old arcade coin-op games playable on the Xbox. For a mere $19.99 you can enjoy these 22 classic games at home, in their original arcade-perfect versions! The games presented here range from 1984 to 1992.For me, "Final Fight" was worth the price of admission all by itself, as I had not played this version since it left the arcades around 1992 or so.Ever since then I was stuck with the heavily censored SNES version, until now.The Super Nintendo version was missing an entire level called "Industrial Area" and also didn't even have Guy as a playable character! The sound effects were altered too, as well as some of the food items (beer and whiskey) and enemies (no women seemed to be allowed). But it's all here now in this version, so that finally makes up for it.The other games presented here include several variations of the "Street Fighter II" and "Ghouls and Ghosts" titles, as well as some other most likely forgotten games that Capcom must have REALLY had to dig deep in the archives to find. They are all worth playing, though.

5-0 out of 5 stars Adds style and panache to a genre that's been shot to death
I first saw Darkwatch at an electronics convention in New York City and immediately fell in love.
1-0 out of 5 stars if someone gets you this game their not your friend.
yes the wild west is always a refreshing change in the first person shooter genre. BUT if you're looking for a game with this descpition GO RENT GUN...it's alot better and you won't want to kick your self every time you turn it on.

4-0 out of 5 stars Something a little different for me

4-0 out of 5 stars Fun. But Boring
I thought the game was fun but it wasn't that exciting. The chalenges were so easy like you beat a challenge just by going into the closet and you beat one just by jumping 6-10 times!!! So to any 1 about to by this be warned as loads of it is kinda boring except when you battle the giant robots

5-0 out of 5 stars Best of the best of Spongebob
Battle for Bikini bottom might be old,but I love it.My favorite areas are the dreams in the middle of the game and you can go from Spongebob's dream to either Patrick's,Sandy's,Mr.Krabs,or Squidward.2 years ago I was new to the game.I did Squidward's dream and it took me a couple hours to beat.Same thing happened with Sandy's dream,Mr.Krabs,I can't beat,I don't own this game but soon I will.I totally recommend this game.

5-0 out of 5 stars okay

5-0 out of 5 stars So much Love!
From Russia with Love marks Bond's fourth appearance on the Xbox since Agent under Fire. I'm happy to say Bond's latest outing is a much better game than Agent under Fire and Nightfire, which were both solid enough games. This only means that From Russia with Love is a very, very good game. I would rate it slightly below Everything or Nothing, Bond's 3rd game on the Xbox. This is simply because that game's graphics are a little better and I found there to be more diversity in the gameplay. However, like I said, From Russia with Love is a very sweet game. It offers you the ability tocustomize your Bond by upgrading his weapons, gadgets, clothes, etc. There is a vintage, retro feeling that comes with playing this game. I felt like I had been transported into the very movie of the same name, although the game offers much more action than the film, the locations are all the same, as is the basic story. Sean Connery's voice acting is a bit raspy but it is good enough, better than anyone else could have done. The action, graphics, sound, and gameplay are all high quality. I stongly recommend this title to any fan of Bond games. To action fans, I'd say rent. As far as action titles go you could do better. But for fans of Bond, this title is great.

2-0 out of 5 stars There is no point besides killing people
There is a plot in this game but really all you have
